搬家了
So, we have moved in to the new shiney flat - Huzzah! It's big, nowhere near as beaten as the International Student's accomodation, but there are 4 of us sharing a shower...
My two lovely flatmates are Sara and Boram, and they're nothing like the damn Koreans who used to keep me awake until 5am in the dorms *grumblewhine* They do have a shower every morning and evening though... which means the floor in the bathroom is always sopping wet (Chinese bathrooms not being fans of a seperate area for a shower -_-). The flat was a bit sparse on the furniture side, so I still need to buy a warderobe, or something similiar, I'm living out of my suitcase atm~ A man just brought a table in to the flat as well... I'm not complaining - should probably find out why he did that though...
Last night we had a B 班 Christmas party! Twas well fun, we went to a restaurant with the first genuine Spinning Susan I've used in China *exciting* Not all of the class came, but the ones I like did, so that's what matters ^^ There were Sara, Boram, Louise, Sergei, Vanessa, Ho Young, Kyatum and the Japanese girl I eternally think of as Noriko. I had to leave the meal after about 10 minutes because I got a phone call from the internet man (*bubbling anger*). He was supposed to fix the flat's wiring at 1pm, but he never turned up and the office only said we should be abl to use the internet now anyway. I checked, it wasn't working, of course. Then the office said they'd call the internet guy... I didn't hear form them until he decided to rock up at about 7:30 -_- First language milestone, I managed to voice strong, bitter disapproval at the poor sod ^^ He'd also visited the day before, but only at 7pm, after we'd waited in the flat for the entire day *grumbe* He was quite nice though, he spoke a bit of English, so of course wanted to practice. Impressively he could make the "th-" sound, that seems to perplex all other Chinese people
Anyway! After making it back to the party the food was all eaten and the beer all drunk, but I was feeling pretty full, so that didn't matter. We all went to LPG (expat-central) and tried to figure how to play with the cup and dominoes on the table. It was really nice, we all managed to chat to each other (again, impressive considering it has to be done in Chinese XD). About half 9 I was feeling a bit funny though, so came home, slept for a few minutes then spent the rest of the night going to the bathroom every half an hour to throw up (who loves detaiiiiiiiiiiils?) - Right now it's 3:20pm and I'm still in my pjs, in bed, shaking slightly -_- This'll teach me to drink milk in this country. Admittedly I haven't had much milk for over 4 months, but come on! I used to drink gallons of the stuff until a few years ago! Unfortunately all the food in the flat is dairy-based... don't really feel like eating that~ Hopefully Louise will respond to my text and bring back some biscuits or sometttttttttttthing! I was supposed to buy a router today, so that everyone in the flat can have internet (currently it's only me, with both ports being in my room
)~
I don't think Taekwondo is going to happen tonight *rolls*
