i got a first letter from a new penpal
she decided to tell me about her family
i started to write her back a letter
in the similar style and subject
and then i realized it was way too heavy,
7 pages in for a first letter
so i folded it up and stuffed it in a box
the writing is way too poignant to just discard
i'll write her a new one, open, interesting and honest
but less detailed and horrifying
i'll save the details for my autobiography
