The Sentinel by Any Other Name . . .

Hi again all. So here we find ourselves again. Strange isn't it. Bloop, after Open Diary, after Live Journal, after whatever we came from then, back when we all still used these pseudonyms because the Net was New and Dangerous. We couldn't reveal our real names because we couldn't be sure who we were really talking to behind those screens and keyboards. My how things have evolved! Most of us not only know each others names and faces and family constructs but sooooo much more!

And yet many of us are coming back here because while we have been on the F-site, overloading on all the minutia of day to day lives, we've missed the closeness and depth of thought and emotion, discussion we had over here, when we didn't have the bombardment of noise. Seems like we need to find a balance - at least I do. So when Susan - sunamen round these parts - said so many more were resurfacing around here - I decided to give it a go as well. While one more digital place to check in can seem like an obligation, I'm hoping for more of a respite.

For those who don't know, I'm formerly known as The Sentinel. Bloop said that diary was deleted and won't let me resurrect it, which is oddly comforting - no delusions of divinity. I'm often known as Auntstace, irl Aunt Stace, and to most grown ups, Stacey. I love reading, writing, learning, watching and listening, and I do so love the little ones of ALL ages! Everybody's Aunt.
