Unity Ceremony

08/30/2010

TITLE HERE

I am trying to figure out what we will be doing for our unity ceremony. The choices are either a traditional unity candle, or a sand mixing ceremony. Weigh in readers!! I could use your opinions.

Sand mixing.

I vote for the candle. I just like the look of a candle better than a jar of sand, sitting on display, potentially for the rest of my life

I did the candle because I just didn't like the whole sand thing.

i like the sand to keep forever.

and if you wanted you can do the sand thing and have your girls be a part of it too like a unity of the whole family.

We had our moms each go up and light a candle. We took the candle they lit and used them to light the unity candle. Just like they had given us life, they helped give life to our bright, new future.
