Monday: Asda wanted people to OT today but I couldn't as the Harv (my dog) needed to go to the vets. He loves going in the car and just barks all the way to wherever we are going. He was in and out quicker than I could buy Strawberryade and Coke from the co-op.
Tuesday: Went a bit mad and signed on to do a twelve hour shift at work. Bearing in mind I'm checkout staff, how many hours do you think I spent on a checkout? That's right out of a twelve hour shift. None. I was outside the whole day pushing trolleys. Do I care? No, not in the slightest. It's less stressful and I earned an extra £2 and a penny. We now have those lockable trolleys where you put the pound coin in the slot but people frequently forget!
Wednesday: Finally got my mum in law to commit to going someplace on holiday. So it's up to muggins here to book it all tomorrow!
Thursday: Phoned up hotel and provisionally booked the for her. Got flights sorted, you think it's cheap until they whack on all the taxes. Still she's a pensioner she can afford it! The mrs is taking a holiday at the time for the dog not to be lonely! Think I won't do so much overtime that week.
Had to drive the mrs in to work as she slept in. I blame the amount of time she's dedicating to Animal Crossing on my Wii!
Got some food out of Asda for my packed lunches. Plus a bag of custard doughnuts! Yum. 5 for 50p, recession pfft... Anyway I then went to buy a Euromillions ticket from the kiosk upstairs from Asda and politely asked the lady how long she'd be she said 5 minutes. So I sat down on the chairs opposite and read my book for 15 minutes. Then got up and saw her terminals will still loading so I went back down into Asda and just bought it there.
Back home I organised a booking with the hotel and flights for June's holiday. It took a while and thanks for all my msn buddies for keeping me sane whilst doing this. At first when I got in I played CSI on my Wii and completed the first case until the mrs phoned and told me should could have those dates off. As we have a dog and don't want him on his own.
Friday: Went to Edinburgh. I got 2 Ds games for about 7.99. Soul Bubbles and Chocobo Tales (it's a kids game but who cares!).
Saturday: Work again. Although again they just put me in the car park all day. So easy enough.
Sunday Work. Picked my second courgette from the garden and stir-fried it up with some red onion and rice. Much tastiness
