Since Asda were actually a pretty good employer (and the db's compared to Tesco) I thought I would re-apply for a job there. Because a) Give me money b) Trusty old car is starting to become rusty old car and c) I would like an excuse to leave the house more than once a day. Besides I can't be worse than swampmong. I probably won't get it but hey worth a shot at any job these days.
We move into our new domicile on the 1st of April (I didn't pick the date!). The mrs has started being the usual pain in the ass routine. I want to know when everyone is going to have everything done by. Well gee there, we won't know until we see the house again after it's been cleaned, it was however pretty clean to start with. Basically the MIL is going round with the dog to clean the place. No I don't mean the dog cleans as well, it's just to get him used to the place. I just had to look up the postcode as I didn't know it. That appears to be the one thing that's easy online.
Speaking of which hurrah I will be finally able to get a computer on broadband at home joy! Once I have sorted whichever company out. No more death stares for schoolkids required.
The new place just has a good feel about it compared to where we are just now and the other house that we viewed which was god awful. Exactly the same layout as ours (being five doors away) but just felt like a murderer was ready to spring out from behind any door.
Getting my NSI bond cashed in shortly so that's some money coming in again joy.
Anyone watching the Number One Ladies Detective Agency on BBC 1 Sunday nights at 9? I'm sat there watching it with the wife as she keeps saying "He/She's not in the book." I'm kind of glad I haven't read the books now. She's also a bit miffed that they have changed the covers on the books as she like the old art style.
Started playing Metroid Hunters on my DS again forgot how hard it was lol. I've only managed a paltry 50%!
EDIT *YE GODS MSN MESSENGER WORKS AT THE LIBRARY*
