As previously stated I brought the New Year in with phlegm and mucus (That's illness not two characters out of Shrek). Now we find out the Landlord being full of Christmas cheer has decided after giving us a 12 month lease, no I want you out in February. To which our letting agents (I'm in shock as much as the next person) said you can't do that it isn't fair! So we are now going to get chucked out in June. Slight bonus of carting stuff around in hot weather and not de-icing the ice cube mobile every morning.
The paperwork we signed (the 12 month lease) never turned up. I went there this morning to demand it and hey presto they pulled it out of their................filing cabinets. They are trying to blame it on delayed post of one week. To which I pointed out we did sign it four weeks ago, ergo should now have papers.
Anyway on the DS front the mrs now has a couple of games and her books. Can anyone recommend any games that aren't too challenging that just use the stylus? Her game tastes and mine don't overlap too much so any suggestions happily received.
Going to start my bus driving again in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to once again driving a vehicle that people daren't cut up. I was laughing like a loon last night in the car. There's a long stretch of road (dual carriageway) that's signposted 50mph speed limit at least at every fouth lampost. I drive along at about 50 mph and always get overtaken. However whilst driving the mrs home the car in front slammed it's brakes on, causing me to do the same (not bothered me I keep my distance). Then realised he had just been pulled and clocked for speeding! I don't know what it is with Audi and BMW drivers around here they insist on driving right up your exhaust.
