What can I say....well here goes.

Recently I returned down South to my old stomping ground of East Anglia. Stayed with one of my great mates John and his fiancee Cassie. Both mad and completely bonkers and that's probably why John's been a great mate for that long.

Got off the plane at Norwich International Airport. I love that International, it has 5 gates and one of those is just for offshore workers! My bag was first off the carousel so that was good. As soon as I walked out of the arrivals door, John was there to meet me. He had just arrived too. John took my bag which was nice. Although it did only weigh 7kg!

Caught a train back to his and dumped my stuff, got the train back into Norwich and met with Babz at the train station. It was a bit weird for the first sort of half an hour, but for some resaon it always is with us 3. Decided to go the Glasshouse and catch up. Can't remember half the stuff we talked about but there were plenty of laughs. Wetherspoons don't stock Orange Wkd what's that all about?

Got train back to John's, met Cassie for the first time. Played Mario Football with John, once we'd worked out how to tackle he won most of the matches! Also played Dead Space Extraction.

Saturday: We were going to go in to town to see the Lord Mayor's Procession or whatever it's called but it was just so damned hot we decided to veg around the house and garden.

Sunday: Got the grand tour of Lingwood including the...........Duck Pond. Met a small puppy which also went to the duck pond. We took some stale tortillas for the ducks. The ducks followed us some of the way back, until they realised we had nothing left for them.

Monday: Went into Norwich with John in the morning. Said my goodbyes and headed off on a different line towards Lowestoft.

Met Ria at lunch to get the key to her house off her. Met her cat's Willow and Hendrix. That night I invited a few mates down to the pub. It was good, there were only five of us but it was fun. Especially being told off by my lil sis for giving her Scottish notes to hand over to the barman.

Got my lil sis to come back to Ria's and gave her a big bar of chocolate.

Tuesday: Went bowling with Chris at LF. He won but we both aren't as good as we used to be. lack of 10 til 6 bowling sessions I think! Played pool after, the score was 1-1 so I set up the next game. Chris potted the black off the break which meant he'd won straight away!

Wednesday: Time to go home. Said my goodbyes to Ria and gave her her Chocs and wine. Got a taxi to the train station, hopped on the first train back to Norwich. Got off the train and wandered into Norwich. I had forgot my way but found a taxi place so just got one to the Airport. Got on my plane with no hassles. When I landed it was pouring down and I only had my summer jacket! Got home a bit wet but happy that I had managed to see a few out of the many people I need to catch up with.
