Right second week of the job. This saw me getting put on checkout support (running between the tills and fixing it when something goes wrong and getting things for people when they forget.) it's easy enough it's just annoying sometimes as the shop is 100,000 sq feet! I also got trained on the lottery and self scan tills. I used to do the lottery when I was at Tesco but they've changed a lot since then.
The car is in desperte need of replacing now. I'm currently searching all the local garages and then going to visit these. Just glad the car is still going from A to B.
Can't believe Easter Eggs get put out as soon as New Year is done with. When is Easter anyway? I had one day off this week as I have three off next week. I'm also training people from other departments on the tills. Which is a trial as most people don't even come down when I put a call out over the tannoy for them.
Got eviction notice that the landlord wanted to put this property on the market again. We have found a new place and get the keys on the 5th and move in on the 8th. The mrs is desperate for me to buy a car but as I explained I then have to tax it sort insurance and breakdown cover. Basically a big lot of hoo-har. If she thinks it's going to be ready to use by the eigth then she's being a bit dim.

Good luck with the move and the car-hunting. There's no reasonably cheap yet decent cars about atm, I know dad had that problem when hunting for cars with Munckin a few months back. One of his friends owns a garage and they've said you can still get bangers for a couple of hundred to five hundred, but after that you're lucky to find anything below three grand.
