Work again Mon-wed.
Thurs sat around caught up with True Blood on my V box for a change since it was early a.m.
Friday: Took the aging car in for a service. News wasn't good, wasn't expecting it to be though it is nearly half my age! So I will now be saving for a new car quite rapidly. Obviuosly being full time from Jan 3rd will help. Plus I can do overtime as well. Which I will as on Wednesdays my shift is 1pm til 9pm. Found out I will be on £6.24 an hour shortly as my 6 month probation will be up.
Saturday: They had me pushing trolleys from 12.30pm to 8pm! It actually bombarded it down with snow. It got so deep we could only push 5 at a time (I see we I mean me! *flexes muscles*). Earned £4 so I got a free bowl of chips out of it. As soon as the snow comes down the traffic ground to a halt. To which an irate woman yelled at me "Why aren't you directing the traffic" I yelled back "Because I'm not a policeman." I did actually feel like saying "Because you nobs are all up the middle of the road blocking the cars coming in thats why. Plus the entrance to our car park is a steep hill on to a roundabout and in ice I don't imagine it's fun to try and stop on.
Sunday: Reduced bus service here on a Sunday. Don't know what it's like where you live but there is only once bus every hour. They did ask me to stay on but I said no as I was on the bus. I decided to give the car a few days off in these conditions. I'll try it next week when some of the snow has melted.
Merry Christmas Everybody!
