Friday: Did a small amount of shopping in Asda after dropping the mrs off. Got asked if I still worked there by the checkout assistant as I hadn't been in for a whole week.

Saturday did a 10 til 10 shift. Had to line up for a couple of new name badges as my remaining one has disappeared somewhere. Trying to recoup some of the £56 I missed out on by being off sick. The tills were so damn busy that no-one was answering the phones. I had to throw a cabbage up and down in the air to get someone's attention. I needed to get my transaction voided as the customer didn't have enough money. When he realised this he said to the next customer "Are there any banks near here?" Other customer replied "Umm yes but it is four o'clock on Saturday so none of them will be open." Seriously, though, I check what money I have before I go shopping. Got so annoyed I asked if I could go and push trolleys round the car park. As Ryan is on his own on a Saturday night from 6 until 9, he works hard but the car park is way too big for one person to do it. Earned £2 for my troubles, that's another Euromillions ticket paid for!

Sunday: Don't know why but they have taken it upon themselves to start moving me around on a Sunday. I used to be on 37 all day which was great as I had a laugh with Siobhan on till 36 when we weren't busy. Now I start on 23 after lunch go to 5 and then at 6 o'clock move up to till 38! Siobhan had a massive load of shopping to finish the night so I closed my till and gave her a hand to pack and wheeled the customers shopping out to her car. Got my staff discount card this morning wooo a whole 10% off for me and the mrs, better than nothing
