Jr is getting big on us...he really needs to stop growing. He is 7 and a half months already...hard to believe. He has 7 teeth now and can say momma which I am really proud of. He hasnt learned how to say dadda yet which has sean a little disappointed.
My mom keeps telling me that I gotta push jr into doing things and work with him because he is lazy. I am surprised that after 7 and a half months she hasnt learned that jr does things at his own pace. I could do stuff with him a thousand times but he wont do it until he feels he is ready. He has been like that ever since the day he was born and even before then. He just refuses to be rushed.
I feel my sister on the other hand is rushing her son horribly. She keeps giving him things that he just isnt ready for. Yeah I understand that her son will be one in February but trust me he will learn he just doesnt need to be pressured into things. With jr sean and I have been taking it easy on him and introducing things to him slowly. We have decided that if he seems like he isnt ready for something we take it away and give it to him at a later time. I think my sister should take a leaf out of our book it might just teach her something. |
