So, after some agonizing months, we finally have the official word...mom is not selling the property and we are not going to be thrown out on the street!!!!!
I can't tell you what a relief that is. Aunt Melody is still planning to move down here to help with Ouma while she is not working (she's decided not to retire right away like before) and will be working out of Vancouver. That will happen sometime around or after the end of September or there abouts.
Mom said straight out that she is not planning on asking us to move, that we are welcome to stay here for as long as we like, and that if we move it will be up to us.
They finally showed some concern about the situation we are living in, how the floors are falling apart and she doesn't seem to be very concerned with the sewer problem but I'm going to keep hyping on that cause the smell is getting really gross.
They did spend some time hyping on Jon's inability to get a job and were trying to pin it on him, that he was sick or had given up, really pissed me off, but I butted in and told them it wasn't his fault that no one would hire him. I know he feels bad, he's been moping around since we came home and he said we'd talk later and then he went to bed early and didn't want to talk. I wish there was something I could do to help him, that someone would give him a job, any job.
Oh well, there was more but I'm finally getting tired, so I'll update more later.
