Jon is having a rough day and it's not gonna get any better. He always has trouble sleeping so he takes a sleep aid, but that requires that he be able to have 8-10 hours to recover from it. Unfortunately, his work notified him that there was an 8:30am meeting this morning that he was required to attend or they would fire him. It's very stupid because they know that it's right in the middle of his sleep cycle, but he had to go or be out of a job. So last night he didn't take his sleepy med, and he only got about an hour or so of good sleep before he had to get up at 730 this morning, and of course he couldn't have any coffee because he wouldn't be able to go back to sleep once he got home. He was gone for about 2 hours and came back all grumpy, because of course he said that it was a bunch of nonsense and non-important stuff that totally could have been relayed to the evening shift at a later time of the day. He went straight to bed and everything was quiet for a while, then the sanitation guys showed up, which mom didn't alert me they were coming until just a few hours before they arrived, and they were banging around outside, cleaning stuff up, making me run into the houses to flush all the toilets, and being generally noisy...and they woke Jon up. He has to be up in a little bit and work an 8+ hour shift. I know he's going to have a hard day and he'll be so beat by the time he gets home. I'm going to try and think up something nice to do for him.
