Welcome to my (sometimes upsidedown) world

continuing the list from before

12/31/2013

drats, had a bunch of stuff written down and then lost it all, going to try and remember what I had down, but probably won't remember some of it...really sucks, I should have saved it and then gone back to edit later instead of just leaving it open.

I think my list started with some stuff after I read a few articles this morning, so going back to read them again to see if I can job my memory.

1)     lose 100-150 pounds
2)     get healthy enough to try for a baby
3)     finish BA degree (current eta is March 2014)
4)     learn to use my sewing machine and complete my first quilt
5)     try to journal consistently, every day if possible
6)     save up enough money or help save up enough to get a good camera and learn how to use it
7)     publish my first calender and/or picture book, even if it only goes to friends and family
8)     follow a read-the-bible-through-in-a-year program consistently
9)     spend some time each day or week going through clutter and trashing/donating what is garbage or isn't needed/used
10)   exercise every day, even if only for 10-15 mins of riding the bike or yoga stretching, etc.
11)   take my vitamins every day
12)   drink more water every day
13)   don't ignore the requests of my son to play, cause all too soon he will grow up and not want to play with me
14)   stand up for myself, don't let people walk all over me
15)   really learn that it's ok to say NO
16)   be more dedicated and responsible in doing school work
17)   focus on getting and staying more organized
18)   plan ahead to be able to leave early so I'm not always just on-time or late
19)   Send xmas cards and projects as soon as they are finished
20)   Take some time at the beginning of each week to review the plans for the week, shopping list, bills to be paid, appointments, etc.
21)   Start a thankfulness and prayer journal, maybe help Garret start one too
22)   try to be a better example for my son, he has been watching me way too closely and noticing things
23)   Do anything to remember daily household chores, I must do my part consistently
24)   Try to have more patience with everyone, including myself
25)   Learn to meditate or some form of relaxation technique
26)   regularly schedule me-time, haircut, mani-pedi, shopping by myself, or other little rewards to keep me charged up
27)   find old friends and maybe new ones in the area and spend time with them, go out for coffee, etc., socialize more
28)   following #27, this includes Jon too, find other people or couples to go out with or spend time with, family and friends
29)   spend more time alone with Jon, away from the house and/or no tv if possible, just talking and being with each other
30)   start thinking about ways to be able to earn/save money to eventually be able to move into a place of our own
31)   set aside some time every day or several times a week to play piano
I wasn't able to remember most of the things I had down, though as I am writing a few more are popping into my head, but here are some more things.

32)   think about writing a book, I have lots of ideas
33)   less tv and games, more in-person time with family
34)   make sure that I tell my family that they are loved and appreciated every day
35)   try to plan ahead to leave the house early so as not to be just "on-time" or late all the time
36)   take advantage of the club membership that I pay for but never use
37)   encourage Garret to read more and read more often to him
38)   try to connect more with people by sending messages or calling them on birthdays, anniversaries, special days, etc.
39)   number one goal for school - stop procrastinating! do something every day, reading or assignment research/prep, so that assignments are done early or on-time. Late is not an option any more unless it's a true emergency, not an excuse.
40)   read the Bible every day, whether through a read-the-Bible-in-a-year program or just reading it freely
41)   Following #40, research in more detail, subjects or people or places in the Bible and share that information with others
42)   I want to start going back to church, especially with Garret, he has asked on many weekends, but I am often so tired from my bizarre schedule, but I want to change that so I can fulfill his request, I don't ever want to have him stop asking.
43)
