A mayhaps unusual but interesting way to honour my Fath

03/21/2009

before the Bloop Crash i'd written about my father's passing and how it's affected me.

I'm not going to go into that again...but there are a few key factors.

First, due to the fact that his girlfriend at the time is a selfish, self-centred bitch no one bothered to contact me so i didn't find out until almost 2 weeks after he died (obviously i missed the funeral)

Second, no one thought to keep anything for me. A picture, some books any kind of momento to remember him by and pass on to my own son one day.

In my religion honouring our ancestors is a very important point. So i'm thinking as a way of doing that and as something to pass on, i'm thinking of changing my name.

His name was Robert, I'm thinking of changing my last name to Robertson which means Son of Robert. It's i think a fitting tribute. I'm unsure if it's what i'm going to do, but it's worth considering.

good night and good luck

What religion are you? (If you don't mind me asking...)

I am very sorry that your dad's girlfriend (or, former girlfriend in this case actually since he has passed away) did not contact you about his death.

Perhaps you should name your son - if you ever have one - Robert instead of changing your last name... just a thought.

Hope you are doing well.
