I forgot to mention in my last entry that one of our hamsters i bought had babies!! When i bought the two at Petco he said they were both females. Well apparently he didnt do his research on hamsters! lol. bcuz 'purple" is definitely a male. Olivia named them 'pinky and purple' haha. Well anywayz she had a litter of 5...and about 2 weeks after that litter she had another 5, i came downstairs and looked into tha cage at tha other babies she had eatin tha new ones. I know thats what hamster do at times...but it freaked me out..by tha time i got tha older babies out she only had 3 of tha liter left. I had to pick thru hamster bedding to find bloody lil hamster bodies. Wellll anyway i just left pinky alone with her new babies that night. I went to check on them in tha morning and realized alll her new babies were dead. She was walkin around wit them in her mouth still, tryin to protect them and move them to a save place when they were already gone. Poor hamster went thru hell...
Wellll one went missin about 4 days ago, i think Olivia opened tha cage, although she isn't admitting it. She's says "welll it must of opened it by its self, and went down the street" haha...yea ok. I was going downstairs about 2am to get a water and i seen that lil hamster run across tha floor and under tha couch. I was like ooooooo shiiiiit ima get you....I lifted my couch up, took gizmo's bed lol, put it over tha hamster and caught it. Now it's back wit tha rest. I don't plan on keepin them all. 3 at tha most. Pinky tha one who had tha babies is already gone so we have 6. I know im going to keep purple, the main hamster I bought bcuz he will let u hold him like nothing. I just gotta see out of tha babies which one is best. Well just wanted to share my lil hamster story! lol They're adorable tho!!!!
