I am going to sound as if I have a 10th degree black belt in lame but I miss Corey. I haven't seen him since yesterday morning. Yes, lame, however, on Sunday, I went with a coworker and her friend to Corey's work and only saw him for a minute before I left. I ended up back at his place and most of the time, he was playing video games or competing somehow with his already drunk friends. I went to bed at like 6am, he crawled in about 8am. I woke up at 11am and said I needed to get back home. I got ready and he walked me home. I hung out with him for about a half hour and then dropped him off at home. I haven't seen or actually talked to him since then. Yes, we text, but to actually hear someone makes you feel that much closer to them.
He works this evening and won't be done until probably midnight or later. We both have tomorrow off and maybe we'll do something then if I don't go over there tonight.
So I had a meeting at work today. We just got a new computer system installed at the host stand and the meeting was for lead hosts and trainers. *STOP THE MUSIC - PAUSE - I started there a little over 6 months ago. I'm considered a lead host now? Wow...just wow! - UNPAUSE - START THE MUSIC* We were training on how to work the computers and do all that. A 2 hour paid shift to putz around on a new computer showing how to seat guests. It was interesting. I have tomorrow off and then back to work early on Thursday. Yay.
Yeah, I really don't have much to talk about. I'm aiming to get this years NOJOMO done without having to use the prompts. So be glad for this.
