Strike
Totally was really weird. First off I had to get up for a 9:00am lecture and for some reason when I woke up at 7:45 to get ready I just couldn't bring myself to actually get up and go, therefore I came to a conclusion. I would just skip the lecture and seminar and just meet hayley and sian outside helmore. So I waited until it was halfway through the lecture to send them a txt saying I overslept (partly true) but I had sian ring me, which was strange because she should have been in a lecture.
Turns out the lecture was cancelled due to the lecturer being 'ill' so that was amusing. She then said her and hayley were going to head over to town and then go to whetherspoons for breakfast and said if I wanted to go. I said sure, got out of bed, still on the phone looked out of the window and said "Oh my god" sian asked what and I revealed that everything was white outside. She explained that it had happened within just five minutes and it stopped completely.
So after changing and slip sliding to town I met up with them and we headed to spoons. We decided to have the traditional breakfast and for an extra 1.50 tea and toast.
I have never seen a breakfast that big before. The poor bloke was carrying it out on a massive tray and we thought to ourselves that no way was that all going to fit on our table. As he was dishing out he placed the toast on the table and I thought that's not alot and then realised we got a plate each. The breakfast look soooo good! and it was yummy! Mind you the best part of it was the toast for me, purely because it came with two little pots of butter and 1 orange marmalade and 1 blackcurrant jam (yum!) it was sooo cute!
After we'd finished the amazingly cheap breakfast. We headed back to uni to actually do some work (all the way still gushing about how good the breakfast was and that lectures should be cancelled more often)
Got to uni, done some research, sian practically dozing on the table because it was too warm, in the end we decided to leave at two and go home.
So all in all, a very interesting day! Tomorrow however......more work. Prisons and white collar crime, joy!
