Opening the door with a key
You will be surprised to see me
Stepping into your apartment
I can smell your sent
Climbing all the stairs I know them all
Passing all the doors in the hall
Approaching your room with a smile
Picturing you walking down the isle
Remembering our first date
We stayed out a bit too late
Just talking and laughing
We didn’t do anything
Sat on the big rock overlooking the quarry
Holding hands and telling stories
I hear the beat of the base from your room
It is matching that of my heart that goes boom boom boom
It gets louder with every step
As I crept
I can picture you dancing around
From your bed to the ground
With such dexterity that wouldn’t even make a sound
With nothing left to say
I am going to take your hand and lead the way
I want all the world to know
I want everyone to see the show
I love you
And I know you love me too
The door is wide opened but the lights are out
One more step, I have no doubts
I want you to be my lover for life
I want you to be my wife
Be the mother of my children
I have crossed all my T’s and dotted all my I’s

I turned my head
I saw two naked people on the bed
There was nothing to be said
