apology/disclaimer

A quick apology on my last entry. Rereading through it, I think it sounded like I found Islam more-or-less barbaric and disrespectful religion. I would like it to be known that I was only talking about al Qaeda, and the extremists factions and what I think they believe. I, myself don't believe those things. I mean, it's like the Christians who believe in the literal interpertation of the Bible. Not every Christian is like that. As I said before, I also have many Muslim friends so I know from a firsthand experience that not all Muslims follow the Qu'ran literally (I mean, if that were the case then how could I possibly have male Muslim friends). So again, I apologize for any idea that I don't think Islam is peaceful (Actually if truth be told, I find Islam more perferable than Christianity, although I believe that Jesus died for us)
And again These are my opinions. Comments are welcome only if they can be written in an intelligent way and not in elementary "You're stupid blah blah blah" terms. Please don't attack me for what I believe. I want it to be known that in no way shape or form do I hate Judaism or the Jewish people.

The Palestinian-Israeli conflict. It just pisses me off every day I check out CNN and see headlines like "Israel turns back Gaza aid ship." (real headline by the way). I mean, really? Letting an entire people suffer because of the few militants. I just can't understand the mindset. "Oh, you shot a rocket at us so um yeah...all that humanitarian aid that's coming....you can just forget about it."
I mean c'mon...I thought that the Jewish people were for peace and helping people and everything. Especially after they suffered for so long, one would think that they wouldn't want anyone to go through that suffering again. But no, the relinquish that suffering on others.
And no, I don't have a side on the conflict. I realize at times, it might appear as if I'm anti-Semitic, but I'm not. I am fully aware of some of the things that have happened to the Jewish people at the hands of the Palestinians and others and I remember (well I don't remember from my own memories per say) those US soldiers being killed and being dumped off the plane. But you know what, that's the past and we can't let an entire NEW generation take the blame and pain for the mistakes that their ancestors made. I mean, if that is the mindset of the world now, than everybody is fucked.
Germany, Japan, Russia, France, England, America...every country. Sure, you're going to say "Well, this new generation is doing the same things" And that might be somewhat true, but it's not their fault. Look at how they are being raised. They are being brought up by hate and therefore hate will rule their life. They are being brought up to not like eachother, and therefore it will continue. But no, I'm not saying that all of them are like this. I know quite a few Palestinians who want nothing more than to live in peace.
But unfortunately, our world is still too barbaric to consider such a feat

I put more blame on Israel than I do with the Palestinians, because Israel are on par with a first world country but will continue to pull shit like refusing to apologize for the atrocities their soldiers commit.
The Palestinians are also to blame, however, but since Israel is the one with the stable government, they're the ones that should be setting the example. Nope.
