 i've got a pocket full of sunshine pt 1
well, i am happy to report that my dream didn't come true last night and actually my boyfriend didn't even go out with his friends. he was way too exhausted to do much of anything last night.
it seems like everytime i get rid of one problem, another one seems to creep up on me. this time the problem's name is kathryn. here is a short breakdown of kathryn: she is my 17 year old cousin who has the strange notion that she completely rules the world, that everyone is suppoesd to cater to her, and that no matter what she is always in the right. i guess to fully understand what is going on you need to have a short backstory (which i'm sure i've already said) but oh well.
i moved back in with my aunt and two cousins because i injured my knee and couldn't get up and down stairs. i had lived with them before for a little over a year before i was supposed to leave for the Marine Corps. before i was supposed to leave i actually shared a room with her, and yes we did of course fight at times, but overall it wasn't all that bad. oh did i mention...her boyfriend used to be one of my best friends...yeah that is pretty much over.
well lately little miss princess has decided to whine, cry, and bitch whenever she feels like it. this doesn't sit well with me in the least because it is usually aimed at me. if it isn't at me it is at her mother, who gives her whatever she wants whenever she wants it. i have to give her some credit though, she is doing the best she can with what she was given (my uncle passed away a few years ago and she is still trying to get a handle on the whole single parent thing). but that doesn't excuse kathryn's attitude or actions.
i have had to talk to her boyfriend multiple times because he also caters to her and her wishes. i can't help but feel like she needs to be slapped multiple times in the face (but that is just me).
i am not the only one who has said something though. my boyfriend (anthony) hates coming to the house because of her. no one likes to be around her and every one i have talked to wants to be rid of her.
i can usually get past all of her little outbursts with very little trouble. however, she has been making little comments about me living here and i can honestly say...i have never felt so unwelcome.
*sigh* this would happen to me...i cannot finish this entry right now because my aunt is going to pick me up and take me downriver so i can help her with something. so on that note, i will finish up this little rant sometime later today....
