i cannot believe how busy it was last night! and it wasn't even a full moon...
there was a head-on collision between two cars full of people. it was disasterous. i did more ct scans (on little humans no less) in a matter of hours than i have in the past few weeks. i also did about a million xrays. thank god the surpervisor called denise to come in. had i been solo all night i would have still been there imaging at 3 am. knowing that they called in 2 nurses, a doctor, and a surgeon made me feel justified in needing backup too. d stayed about 2 hours and things calmed down to a manageable state after that. so much for finishing my christmas cards on work time...
speaking of mail, this is how awesome i am: i had a letter returned to me today, needing more postage. aka any postage. apparently i felt that writing the address on the envelope and dropping it in the postbox was all that was necessary?! i'm super.
i'm in the midst of making christmas happen here. i got a few decorations out, and we hung some garland and set up the tree. however, just before we could hang any decorations, josh called his boss to check up on his hours for the week. apparently he had a shift tonight, and was supposed to start in 20 minutes. way to go, champ. he took off outta here for work, and i don't want to decorate without him, so the "ball hanging" is on hold. i'm guessing pictures will be posted when we're done, if not here then certainly on facebook.
i have to say that i'm pretty proud of myself. it's december first and i'm mostly done my christmas shopping (stocking sutffers included), my christmas cards are mailed (except for those i'm waiting for addresses for) and by night's end my decorating ought to be finished. add to that that travel arrangements are made and a party is planned (and partly shopped for via mom) at home, and i'm doing better than i think i ever have before in regards to christmas prep.

Do you enjoy it? :]

Hahaha..I talk about things people find uncomfortable, too. It's so awkward, too, because people just look at you like "...Wtf?"

Wow, done xmas shopping already? Damn impressive.
And do you get paid any extra for working so much and for so long?

haha I definitely put my rent check in the mail last week without a stamp. and without half of the address....I really dont know what I was doing while i was mailing it, but clearly I need to pay more attention.

that's alll I've been hearing. my brother said the ankle part of his leg piece was the most painful thing he's ever experienced. But, it's the only place I really want it. So I would rather just suck it up, and love it in the end, than put it somewhere less painful and not love it as much. Maybe I'll just magic marker it and pretend haha

HAHA i love the song from your title. oh carrie. haha.
that's so scary about the car crashes.. are you like an xray technician or something? for some reason i thought you worked at, like, payless? but obviously i've mistaken you for someone else?
idk!

This is probably as far as it will go. I may be commenting with this, so I wanted a way for people to comment back.
