neither of those are screamo. "but i mainly like them because the majourity of their songs aren't completely sceamo", like you say. it's because they're not. they've both been around longer than the screamo genre.

I can't speak for Killswitch, because I don't really listen to them. But Slipknot is most definitely Metal.

Ok um...no. Slipknot and Killswitch Engage are definitely NOT screamo. Screamo is basically screaming + emo. Slipknot is not emo in any way shape or form.
