My state is in a state of crisis........... we are a natural disaster zone. A good percentage of the state is under water.
Flood waters are rising and we are in the process of seeing the worst flooding we've ever seen, surpassed the 1974 floods.
Australians come together but... we are a state and we as a country need more help than that. We try and help other countries and I feel that we do well. Now we need help.

It is a scary time. It is a solemn time. But in true Aussie spirit we are all coming together and helping neighbours, family, friends and strangers.

I posted the link with a plea on my facebook and I hope that my friends will repost it and help raise more money. I have to take stock of my finances and impending bills before I can make a contribution, but I won't forget.

The RSPCA also needs donations too. Their main shelter went under and there are also lots of animals affected by the floods in Central Queensland. Can't forget about the little ones.
