I was just out getting lunch, it's gorgeous outside. It must be 70°F today, I hated to return to work. We drove with all the windows down, if we had been in a convertible we would have had the top down. It was that nice outside! I really don't know where the year's gone, it's the middle of December already and I've been here for almost a year and a half now. Time truly flies.
The Christmas party Friday night was okay. We got there at 7pm, they already had the buffet lines open so we grabbed food. We ate and talked with co-workers for most of two hours while the DJ played Christmasy music, at almost 9pm the management put on their predictably cheesy skit then they played more music until 9:30 when they called out the door prizes. I again failed to win anything, but that's okay. We left around 10 when they finished that, they kept the party going until around midnight for dancing but my wife doesn't know anybody there and was ready to leave. I wouldn't have stayed much longer anyway. |
