The weekend was lovely here. Temperatures reached 70F both days and it was sunny. I took advantage of the weather as much as possible, I drove down to the Riverwalk on Saturday for an hour or so, then returned home to change the oil in one of the cars. Sunday was more of a low-key day but I did smoke a pork shoulder in the electric smoker and then made pulled pork when it was fully smoked and tender. Of course, Monday dawned wet and colder and it continued to get colder through the remainder of the day. It’s supposed to rain more starting tomorrow and going all the way through Friday but I’ll deal with that after the gorgeous weekend we had.
I received a package from my partner in the decal printing business. Samples of the most recent sheets, a T-shirt with our logo, and a check for the artwork I’ve done for him lately. That was a very welcome package! |
