I sure hope today isn't the end of the world, like some groups predicted. I just put new tires on the car!
Seriously, I did. I decided to just take the older, larger car with automatic transmission on the trip to Indianapolis since the friend who is accompanying me doesn't want to drive a manual shift. I figure the tires I had on there were good for another 5000 miles but I needed an alignment anyway and the tires were iffy in case it rained so I bit the bullet.
I'm mostly out of my funk that I chronicled in my last entry. I swear though, if the end of the world does happen today I'll be pissed after just buying new tires... |
