I got a piece of news from my manager today. It looks like I might get sent to Oak Ridge, TN for two weeks in December to monitor some testing. Oak Ridge is one of the laboratories where the atomic bombs were developed in the 1940s, seeing the place will be interesting from a historical standpoint but I'm not looking forward to being stuck in a motel room for two weeks. Especially since it'll be dark by the time I get back to the room every day after work since the time changes this weekend. |
