I'm trying not to do other work on work time. So, somehow, online diary is a better option. ??? lol I've found myself again with no project. Not even a "backburner" or "maybe someday." I had been working on a specific logo for the education department. THAT'S boredom. I took 3 hours wrapping presents for the adults who are getting Bar/Bat Mitzvahed tonight. Yes, that was with a lot of interruptions and lunch and trying to do other real work and failing.
I guess I could write something, but I'm kinda between projects, where the bits I've written don't quite work out into a real story yet and might never, and the land of I Don't Want To Edit Anymore. I was staring at a page I wrote as a sequel to the mid-grade/young adult novel I'm getting published, and ended up watching "Hunger Games" on DVD. lol And crying, of course, since I knew what was going to happen, I read the books, and it didn't matter.
I thought my co-worker (the "new" Rachel) was coming in at noon, but it's almost 2, and I'm all alone. My boss had a doctor's appointment, and she's not coming back until later, since she's staying for the B'nai Mitzvah tonight. She didn't have much for me, anyway. I even did some copying for the Rabbi, before he took off to officiate a funeral.
I should quit rambling so you can go do something useful.
