Yesterday my husband and I took my car to get an oil change and find out more about what the exhaust problem was with my car. I was really hoping that it was just the CO2 censor but my luck doesn't work that way. My car is apparently so special it needs two Catalytic Converters. Thank goodness only one of them needs to be replaced! Of course true to my rotten luck the one that needs to be replaced is the front one which is more expensive because the labor charges are more for it. We were able to save a little money by ordering a rebuilt Catalytic Converter though. Normally I wouldn't do that but the guy at Mieneke assured me that there was a warranty on them, and since I really needed to be careful about how much I spent to fix the car I'm going to go with that and hope for the best. On top of that the car has an oil leak which I'm getting fixed today because it could cause my Alternator to go out if the oil leaks into it. I wish I could go ahead and get the Catalytic Converter problem fixed today too but they had to order the part so that won't happen till sometime next week. Hopefully after these issues are fixed there won't be any other little unhappy surprises to worry about.
