I watched a Dr. OZ episode where they discussed the HCG diet, and the positive results people have had. Because of this, I'm curious if anyone here has tried it.
If you've tried it, what were your results, and would you recommend it?

I really don't understand why people look for miracle diets. It's simply a matter of changing your lifestyle; eating the right food, watching portion sizes and being active. Change your habits and everything else will follow suit.

this. go to a nutritionist and have them tell you what you need to eat to be healthy. diets don't work for the long term.

This.

Anything that promises huge results without work and/or sacrifice should not be taken seriously.

i thought it was bad - i didnt try it my ex co worker did, she lost ALOT of weight, she did NO excerise, she took the drops, and after she stopped PLUS not maintaining and she gained it ALL back and MORE very VERY fast... she lost like 40 lbs in like 2 months... its basically starvation IMO because she only would eat like less than 600 calories a day - i would recommed joining myfitnespal.com i lost 20 lbs just tracking my diet and so on, and it worked, i kept it off and i learned to keep it off.

i think the only thing that works for people is if you increase your physical activity, change your diet (portion sizes, eat more fruits and veggies, etc). Another thing that people need to realize is, it will take time to see any differences. It doesn't happen over night. My former boss was extremely over weight. She decided to do all of these and she has lost over 100 pounds! She looks amazing and is just happier altogether. The big key in her success was sticking to it!

This diet is ridiculous, I think. Let's only let ourselves have 500 calories a day and put ourselves in starvation mode, then take a synthetic drug to curb our appetite? My aunt did this. Lost a lot of weight. The moment she stopped, she gained over half of it back. There's healthier ways to do things.
