I am a trial junkie. I enjoy watching full-length trials and hearing hard facts, opinions, cross-examinations, etc. I followed the Casey Anthony case all the way up to her acquittal (which I feel was a fail in our justice system) and have been now following the death penalty trial on Jodi Arias who is accused of killing her ex-boyfriend.

Is anyone else following this trial? If you are what are your thoughts? Guilty or not with what we know thus far?

In my opinion...up to this point the prosecution has strong evidence AGAINST Arias. Not just the fact that her grandfathers home was robbed (a week prior to the victims death with the same gun that was taken in the robbery) but also the fact that an abused, scared and hurt woman could run into the arms of another man (Ryan Burns) within 24 hours of her supposed self-defense killing. Thoughts? Discussion?

I had to google this, to even see what it was.. HOLY CRAP.. this guy fought HARD CORE for his life. I'm honestly baffled at how such a small woman was able to do this much damage to him, with him only doing minor damage to her in return (a few cuts on her hands/arms). I don't know if I believe that she was the only person involved in this murder... but I believe she is definitely guilty. 29 stabbings, throat cut AND a gunshot? What did this guy do to her? That says "EMOTIONAL ATTACK" to me.. I dunno. I don't like stuff like this. >Shudders

He truly didn't do anything to her that would cause such brutal killing; she is a jealous, psycho ex-girlfriend who needs to be locked up. I think what's so sad is that from the photos they retrieved from his last moments together some think that he was forced to pose in the photos before being murdered. I cannot even imagine my last moments giving into someone's demands knowing I am going to possibly die.

I had no idea the back story of the case so I googled everything to know what was going on. I stumbled upon a site where they had the pictures of her dead boyfriend at the crime scene. HOLY CRAP is all I can say about it. I highly doubt this was a self defense killing just from the pictures and previous pictures leading up to the killing. I hope she gets what she deserves.

Don't even get me started on the Casey Anthony case ;P

I'm agreeing with you here. The defense strategy is to make Arias seem like a battered woman but most battered woman turn themselves in or call 911 after being attacked. Also, there was over kill portrayed here in the way and method she chose to kill him. If she was defending him the gun shot would have thwarted his attacks enough (or even ONE knife wound) for her to run. She's guilty.

I meant turn themselves in after he attacked her and she "defended herself"

Defense starts their part of the trial today. Who thinks Arias will have the balls to take the stand? And can you believe the supposed "prosecutorial misconduct?" Their main witness Searcy is a COMPLETELY idiot. I hope this prosecutor nails them all.

Stabbing someone that many times and shooting them makes this a passionate crime. I was trying to see of there was any news coverage of it on the TV, but I guess I live too far away for it to be major news. How can she go from not harming him to seeing an intruder to admitting she killed him? I want to hear her story when they call her to the stand, if they do. I'm not sure she will. That girl has some serious explaining to do and it's not going to be easy knowing there are millions of eyes watching you! Several of which hold your fate. I'm sure she's been adequately rehearsed though. Sickening

I agree, this was sickening! I do not believe this was self-defense and she should get the dealth penalty. It is sad this man lost his life over a jealous girlfriend. If she did not like the way he treated her she should have just left him alone, that was her option not to take his life.
