"You can butt in on these when ever you like. I find your opinions very valid."

@Professor Snape - considering the two of you are the same person, I would hope so.

You are so off base. There is a diary on here that is mine besides my Professor Snape one however, it is not Severus Snape. If you go to her diary & then mine you will see that the writing & such is completely different & as creative as I would love to be, I'm not that creative.

@Severus: I know, I know. It was a joke. Because you two have the same diary name. I feel like I just repeated the same thing to the same person for that very reason. sheeesh

@SoA eh. I seem to remember a post where he said he was literally C&P-ing his entries from some wacko on OD. Even provided a link to said OD-er and I followed it, and yup, wacko.

So real or not, trooooooooll. xD

@SoA which is why I ignored his (part of) original reply to me. Maybe he's being srs now (which still means, troll XD) but then... it's quite hard for someone to take you srsly when all you do is spout random crap IN ALL CAPS AND LOTS OF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD And you admitted to being a fraud. ;-P

@C♥li Girl lol it's 1 of the reasons why I loved reading the books. Some bits and pieces are actual historical beliefs (that we obviously don't believe in anymore) such as bezoars and mandrakes but I'm pretty sure she made up wingardium leviosa with fake Latin. XD

And yeah it's sad that ppl spout things like that (his latest entry is a hoot) but I've found just ignoring them to be the best medicine b/c then they don't get the attention they want, online or in RL.

@love: that makes them even more interesting, to me personally because i love historical information & books like that. Makes me want re-read the series again....just got unpack them LOL.

that's true. I just took him off my faves. the less I see him on that the less likely i'll get the itch to read it lol

@Professor Snape: Whereas I don't hold his views, it's not really hearsay when it actuall IS witchcraft. Personally, I think that if you teach your kids right/wrong, wait until they realize the difference, then they can watch (almost) whatever they want. As long as it wont give them nightmares (scary movies) when they go to sleep so they don't have to come get into bed w/ me, haha.

Yes but having not read it himself & allowing others to make the decision of whether or not he likes the book to me makes his argument invalid & rather pointless.

But I agree with the rest of what you said. It is completely up the the parent to set the boundaries for their children. My sisters is 8 & she has watched up to the 3rd movie. My mom, even though my sister does know right from wrong, feels that they start to get a little to dark for my sister to watch. she doesn't want her to have nightmares. She knows what happens because she's now on book 6 but that doesn't change the fact that on video it's scarier.

Yes, because the millions of adults and children who have read these books then took to practicing witchcraft... I must be blind, because virtually everyone I know has read them and I've not seem one of them try and cast a spell!

Of course, if you don't believe in your own ability to teach your child the right path then you've probably not taught them very well!

if you knew how to be a christian, you would know that accepting WITCHCRAFT as acceptable means you have allowed SIN into your heart. but i would not expect some liberal from a radically left socialist country to know anything about that.

Yup, in that country you like to refer to as Europe there's no Christians, just a bunch of Harry Potter loving witches flying around on broomsticks and casting spells on each other!
