I want to get pictures done with my daughters, my boyfriend and I! Where is a good place you recommend? I've heard Sears does an amazing job and allows a lot of differen poses. Do you recommend anything? We are trying to stay at $100 or under!

Portrait Innovations! If you have one around, you can get TONS of poses and pictures for $100. I love them! We've never had a bad session there!

I've always used JC Penny's. You can sign up for their e-mail list and they'll send you a coupon for a, I think it's $9.95 portrait package for one sitting, plus discounts on add'l sheets. They've always done a really great job. Then you can sign up for their portrait club, which I think is $30 for the year, and they give you a free 8x10, I want to say it's every three months (can you tell it's been a while since we had pictures done? :-x it's definitely convienient when the kids get older and get daycare/school pictures... lol)

I've used JC Penny's and gotten good pictures (our xmas pictures) but I think Nicole (Kinsley's Momma) had a bad experience with them. Not sure.

I've always used JCPenney's as they send out coupons for free sitting fee, free 8x10 and then $3.95 sheets. Pictures have always cost under $75 depending on how much we get. Plus, they do a ton of poses and you can change outfits/backgrounds.

My parents always got our pictures done at Sears. My mom said they always had good deals and often had "free print" offers or like a total percentage of your package. Usually you can print the coupons out from the computer too!

If I had to choose a chain studio I'd choose Picture People. You can usually print off a coupon for a free 8x10 or 11x13 and they have done a good job 90% of the times I have used them.

I've used Sears and got a free 11x13 print with it. They have coupons to print out and I have no complaints. My cousin swears by Picture People and her photos always seem blurry. Not just one photo, but all of them. Could just be the people though.

@ein rosa: not to mention they're expensive. My aunt swears by PP too.. I've only done 2 photo shoots there. 1 where it was all the grand kids(we didn't pay for them) & the 2nd was for my daughters prints. I wanna try Sears for sure.

I took family pictures at JC Penny. I also went to a Target studio. They turned out good. I didn't know Target had photo studios until I noticed there was one close to me. You can get coupons for $3.99 per pose at both JC Penny and Target.
