Car Trouble?

For some reason whenever I go to get gas I have to pump my gas pedal in order for the car to start.
I have no problems starting the car any other time, ONLY when I go get gas.

Has anyone ever had this problem? If so what was it?

I drive a Dodge Stratus if that helps (Feel free to make fun of my car, it's ok I'm selling it before I move to Italy). Besides that the car is doing great and has no other issues.

@Tracie: Do you only fill up when your tank is almost empty? or could it possibly be the type of gas you're using?

My car reacts funny to the BP gas with that "invigorate" crap in it, so I don't use it.

I googled it, and found something.

Vapor lock makes the most sense, from the sounds of it. The answerer recommends using fuel cleaner in the gas tank. You can buy it for under ten bucks at the gas station.

When I use fuel cleaner, my dad always tells me to get my tank as empty as possible, put the cleaner in, and then top off the tank. :)

I asked a guy friend and he suggested a new fuel filter, to switch my gas grade, and the cleaner. He said if I don't notice a change then to just take it in. So I'm hoping he's right and that solves my problem lol.
