So, I'm working on a logo for my new podcast...which will then be tattooed on my body. So, does anyone speak either German or Gaelic?

I need the proper form of NEW AGE MURDA SHOW...And yes, I know that Murda is probably NOT in either language so MURDER would be fine. Can anyone help with this, please?

Truthfully, I actually prefer Gaelic, due to being Irish. It's the name of my new podcast and I want to get it tattooed along with my logo. I THINK I have the correct Gaelic phrase for it...but I want to make sure.

The German...I couldn't find it.

Don't quote me but I think the German version is: "Neue Altermordschau"

You mean Irish gaelic then.

Not that I'd be able to help with Scottish gaelic either since no-one actually speaks it (except on the islands).

I doubt you'll find anyone here that speaks Irish gaelic though, since no-one really speaks that anymore either!

Really? Cool. I've never found any Irish Bloopers! (And by Irish, I mean Irish in the true sense of the word, not Irish-American)

Or is it Americans who you found who speak it?

One, I believe lives in Southern Ireland. The other is American. Also...my tattoo artist was actually born and raised in Ireland and later moved to America. In fact...I found out yesterday...He actually served prison time for running guns for the IRA.

How on earth did an IRA terrorist manage to get through American immigration?

Americans used to support the IRA, back in the day, yo. They thought it was all about standing up for the rights of the poor misunderstood quaint exotic Irish pplz and their cute little leprachauns! Then 9/11 happened, and they realised what terrorism entailed and withdrew their support.

Actually Calico was born over there and raised there until he was 15...when his parents were killed in the fighting. He was then sent over here to live with relatives in Texas. He got caught running guns when he was 19 and served 5 years in Federal prison. It's wild...cuz if you met him...you TOTALLY would NEVER guess it from looking at him. He looks like the typical guy next door.

In federal prison? So he served in an American prison? How did he not get deported to Ireland afterwards then? I wouldn't have thought the American government would have given a green card or residency to a terrorist.

You'd be surprised lol.
Some of the people they let in...it's just insane :-/

I honestly don't think they really check anyone out.

They check out the innocent ones! One of my friends married her American boyfriend last year and it took a YEAR for her to get her greencard to move there. They spent the first year of their marriage living on different continents!

They wouldn't even let her have a temporary visa? What the hell is wrong with people? :(
I don't understand the people that moderate immigration at all.

On another note-I just told my boyfriend about this, and he said "they let me in, but they didn't want let some chick who got married in?" Hahaha.
He moved here from Canada like five years ago.

And I just found out like, a month ago, that his green card, is actually pink.
Apparently thats how his whole family's are? Just adds to the weird-ness.

They're pink? We were wondering if it would actually be green, since she hadn't actually received it yet when she left here last month, she just had a temporary one.

And she was allowed a tourist visa to go and visit him for Thanksgiving, but she wasn't allowed to stay indefinitely while waiting for the green card, and her application had to be submitted from here.

I think they used to be pink at one point. I just randomly wondered that and asked him if it was really green. He said "no, mines pink."

I was highly amused considering pink is my favorite color lol.
I'm not sure if they're different colors depending on where you're from or not.
Since he's Canadian, it might be a special color for them. And overseas immigrants might be green? I'm not sure lol.

I'm going to go see if I can find a website about it lol, I'm curious now!

Lol, yes, and it's not the first time (I've been before to San Francisco, LA, New York City, as well as to New Hampshire and Vermont with my parents when I was a teenager).

They live in San Francisco.

Ouch, that's got to be one hell of a flight!

I've never been to San Francisco, but I was in LA when I was a kid (I think like 11 or something like that.). I went to New York the year after, but it was upstate because of my dad's job.

I live about an hour north of Chicago, so I go there quite a bit for the aquarium and museums and things like that, so I suppose it isn't so bad that I couldn't go to NYC ;D

I connect in Philadelphia, so that breaks up the journey, and prevents me having to connect in London, and on the way back I'm stopping over for a couple of days in Chicago (and then connect again in Philadelphia on the flight home).

I love San Francisco. I think it's one of my favourite cities. LA was OK for the novelty value for a few days. I wasn't too impressed with NYC. The people were so rude. I have a feeling I'll prefer Chicago.

I really love Chicago. Compared to where I live it's just amazing.
Last year was the first time I ever really went there (versus driving through.) I couldn't stop starring at everything.
Everything is like, double the size of the buildings here in Milwaukee. And they're pretty ;D

I don't remember a whole lot about LA, just Disney Land, mainly. The flight seemed to take forever when I was a kid. We connected in Minneapolis, and then went on to LA. For some reason my airport doesn't like to have direct flights ANYWHERE. Even though its supposedly "huge" and the hub for a lot of airlines. I never understood that. Even just going to Cleveland, 3/4 of the flights have a layover in Maryland of all places. So basically I go PAST Cleveland, and double back. It's really an odd system.

How long is your total travel time supposed to be? 13 hours or something like that?

Yeah, I think it's something like that. I can't remember and am too lazy to go and find my itinerary! (But I've flown way further in the past... think the longest was from the UK to New Zealand, with just an hour or so stopover in LA to refuel. So it doesn't really bother me.)
