I'm tall, too, and I ALWAYS got asked if I played basketball. I am one of THE most CLUMSY people in the WORLD. If I had tried to play basketball, I would've probably had my face broken by the ball. Seriously.

Gosh, you totally would hate the UK, yo! Like, insulting each other is a sign of affection! I have two Irish FB friends who are besties - one really tall and the other really short - and they are totally always jibing each other about their heights, and they have great fun with it! I remember reading the John McCarthy book, about how he was held hostage with an Irish guy and an American guy, and the American was always asking in bewilderment why he and the Irish guy were always insulting each other!

I wrote a really long post here last night but it didn't post and deleted itself. I may write it again later.

Anyhoo; people who make HIV/AIDS and cancer jokes. I don't find them funny as anybody could get cancer and a lot of people could contract HIV quite easily. I find them very distasteful, and I find hardly anything distasteful so that is really saying something!

I do not tolerate AIDS jokes at all. My best friends uncle got AIDS because his wife is a cheating whore, cheated on him, and gave him AIDS. He is very close to the end of his battle with this disease, it has ravaged his body for years, and it cannot take much more.

Spelling and grammar mistakes, dirty kitchens, messy eyebrows, and teeth scraping on silverware. But the worst one is the sound of brushing your teeth. The brissles flicking together. Ugh! My boyfriend is so gross when he brushes his teeth. Sometimes, I actually gag. I don't know what it is, but I just can't handle it. I actually have to leave the water on when I brush. You know that Barney song "I Never Let the Water Run"? Yeah, soooo gonna work, dude.

I have messy eyebrows and a dirty kitchen, yo! I am your pet peave! (and a spelling error too! Gosh, a real one - I must have been thinking about peas!) And I'm about to brush my teeth right now, and the bristles will flick together merrily!

I have many pet peeves, most of which have already been mentioned several times (i.e smacking of gum/food) - but so far in 24 pages I have yet to see this one:

People who insist on making out in public! Its one thing to stand with your arms around someone, if you want to engage in a long kiss go for it. But if its going to go past kissing, if its something that a movie would get a PG13 rating for - please don't engage in it out in public. Espec when there are young kids around. Nothing annoys me and makes me "hotter" then taking my 12 yr old to the movies, and having a young couple infront of us completely making out, with hands in shirts or pants. If it makes my 12 yr old gag and turn beet red - You dont need to be doing it in public!

OMG I AM RIGHT WITH YOU THERE!!!!
People just don't know how to get a room!
My brother-in-law and his girlfriend were TERRIBLE for it... I don't think that my inlaws have ever seen my partner and I kiss, because I think it is something that is for private and behind closed doors. These two... god! we will be sitting on the couch as a family and they're ALL OVER EACH OTHER. And they ALWAYS have to be touching. It's sickening. I banned her from the house when I was pregnant, my morning sickness was bad enough without that ;) :P
