Sadly enough, I have nothing to compare as best and worst. I have only been to one concert... and as much as I don't want to admit it, it was Neal McCoy and it was 13 years ago. Lol.

He's a country singer of Filipino decent. He had a few hits back in the day. He's actually pretty good.

I hate when people push from behind, ESPECIALLY when we've gotten there early to get a good spot and someone else thinks they can just push in!

Best concerts are in Europe. You guys have the greatest metal and rock shows anywhere. I've been to Donnington twice to see the Monsters Of Rock show(which is now called Download Festival).

I've also been to Germany twice to Wacken Open Air. Also been to England twice to see Firefest show in Nottingham.

This is true. The best music event (I don't consider it a concert, as it's a festival) I've ever been to was T in the Park last year and it was AMAZING. One of the most fun days I've ever had, even if I did leave covered in beer (and was definitely beer and not pee... it was cold!).

I wish America had even 1/4 of the amazing Concerts/festivals that Europe and Scandanavia has. Hell...I wish they had 1/4 of the ones that GERMANY alone had. LOL

I heard that T in the park was amazing.

I might be coming over there again this year for Firefest again if I can book a hotel in time.

That's pretty much what the girls behind me were trying to do. We'd gotten there early, right before the doors opened, stood in line and had a good spot. Then the bitches tried to push forward when there was no where to go. >___

I was at a concert last summer and we'd been there since lunchtime (it started at 6pm) so as to get a spot right at the front... but there was a whole lot of people who tried to push in, and those of us at the front were having NONE of it! The problem was they could push so far by saying to people they'd been at the front and had just gone out to get drinks (not that that was easy to convince people of... in our case it was true and it was still a nightmare getting back to our spot!)... but by the time they reached the front few rows, people were aware of who had been stood next to them, and who was new!

There was actually quite a sense of solidarity at the front. None of us were letting anyone in. At one point one girl who was drunk and trying to push made a real scene and had to be warned by security to step back or leave... but the best bit of all was when this 60-something year old woman (alone and drunk) tried to push infront of me. I told her we'd been there for hours and she was NOT pushing in... she continued to try and push past so I told her to go away and blocked her by turning my back to her... then she told me I was a "horrible little girl!" She did eventually give up though. I don't care how old you are, pushing is a big no no in my book!

Hahaha yeah a guy and his gf were standing right next to me and the girls who were trying to push in by him too so we ending up being right next to each other creating a wall The girl eventually pushed me 1 too many times when I finally pushed back and she started screaming @ me when I finally said, "I don't give a shit, if you wanted to be closer than you should've gotten here earlier." This old drunk lady even told them the same thing when they tried doing it to them. Before those girls got there all of us in the front were having a good time, it was such bs. I have no problem moving over a bit if you can't see or something like that (which is what she was trying to say, that she just wanted some more "room to see") but pushing and shoving against my back is NOT going to get you what you want.

I had some bitch who pushed her way to in front of me the other night at Grinspoon. And then, her and her gal-pal decided to start fighting and pushing at each other... holding each others hands but one was trying to get away and one wouldn't let go and so it was like a tug of war all up in my face and bumping in to me and what not. I was SO close to smacking the damn bitches. I told them to fuck off and they eventually did but I tell ya what... GR!

Hahaha I remember reading that in your entry. Make up your fucking mind before you go pushing around at the VERY least. Pushing in isn't going to get you in the good graces of the crowd to begin w/, much less if 1 of you doesn't want to go. XD

We had that happen to us last night. This drunk guy came up behind us after we'd been standing there for a good 3 hours by then and he just shoved his way between us. I so wanted to punch him but didn't want an assault charge against me.

Yeah I'm glad I had the guy standing next to me, he helped. When me and my friends go, we make a WALL. No one in at all. it's 1 thing if you've got someone up there or you're coming back up from goin to the bathroom or something, it's another when you're just shoving to the front.

The best concert I been to is hands down Blue October!!! They are amazing live, all their unknown music is the best. If you never been to a Blue October concert you should go. The first time I saw them I seriously thought they would suck but they are fucking awesome live. Seriously best concert ever. I try to see them once a year. I been to three concerts with the May 8th in Austin Texas it will be my fourth time.
I haven't had a bad concert experience though. lol I guess because I am picky when it comes to seeing live music, but I love concerts.

Ohhhh Blue October was at Bayfest (this thing that my town does here in the deep South that's HUGE; we get a bunch of huge names in diff. genres to come) a few years back. I don't really know their music but I have heard of them. ^____^

How funny,we have Bayfest too here in south texas. Yeah you should def check them out the next time they are in your area, usually they sell out very quick though so be careful. Especially in Austin because they are from that area so they always sell out the concerts there. They are an awesome band live!!

Hahaha, nice! XD I haven't been to Bayfest in like 2/3 years b/c I hate crowds. During Sevendust there were a few times where I had to tell myself not to have a panic attack b/c it was so damn crowded. OneRepublic wasn't nearly as packed and well, it was mostly women and gay men so that was different. XD

YES!!! My sister is bffs with Whole Wheat Bread. Joe, the drummer, is the nicest guy in the entire world! I *heart* him. The band always crashed at our apt when they played Vegas. :)

Hahaha, I am so in love with them. They are an amazing group. When they came on stage people booed and chanted MC Chris, well after they played all the white kids who didnt want them to play chanted Whole Wheat Bread, and they played another song for us. My husband bought all their CD's on the spot, and now its my number one playlist. I love them. Haha. They need to come back to Denver.

Blink-182. No push and shove. And the guys put on a great show. Now MCR was killer. Too many high schoolers, pretending to be drunk, pushing their way to see Gerard Way.

MUSE hands down, best concerts ever! I'm going to see them again in April.

Worst would have to be Everclear. Not their fault that the crowd was a bunch of drunk rednecks. It was at a local thing called Flaming Gorge days.

I saw Shinedown, Evan's Blue, and Halestorm and while the music was amazing, the general experience sucked. I went with my step-sister and our friends Jamie and Jared and we got there fairly early and were about halfway up. There were no seats, so everyone was just crowded together, and it was HOT. When Halestorm opened, things were fairly calm because they were just starting to get known back then. When Evan's Blue played it got a little more wild, but still not too bad. Then Shinedown took the stage and people started shoving. Some idiot didn't realize that when you have a full cup of beer in your hand, you should not jump up and down and he spilled it all over me. It got so bad that Jamie, Jared, and I just walked away. We went and stood in the back so we could breathe.
