But does this strike anyone else as odd/cruel/something that should be reported?

I found it via the Stumble button. *Shrug* It just seemed in poor taste to me.

The cat definitely looks alive... this has got to be camera trickery.

I don't think that's even real. Must be edited in or something.

It just looks like a moving image of a cat being held by the scruff of his/hers neck was taken and then drafted onto a back ground image, in this case a hallway. Little gifs like that are really easy to make, you could make with around 10 seconds footage of a cat being held by the scruff of its neck.

Haha it's funny. And I love cats. I just don't think something with such low video quality would be real. No way.

Remember the bonsai kitten email that went round for years?

Haha - that's what I was thinking. It made me laugh - but it also looks very fake. If it had looked real, I wouldn't have found it funny. But it just looks like a silly animation. Worse has been done with pictures of George Bush!

Knowing the folks at ytmnd, it might not even be a real cat. I sure hope it isn't anyway.

I did report it to an admin I know there though, so hopefully it will be taken down at least.

Awesome, thank you. Kinda creeped me out, oddly enough.
