cinderella is our white lab. she was supposed to be our big dog to make my dad feel more manly since we had 2 lap dogs in our house. lol when we went to pick up cinderella (i named her i was 10 or 11 at the time and reading a teeny bopper book the main characters real name was cinderella and everyone called her cindy. so i of course loved it and told my mom and she loved it too.) her brother had my dad from hello. lol. so we left with two puppies cinderella and duke. idk why my mom named duke, duke. cinderella was my dog and duke was jerrica's. they had our personality traits and went with us everywhere. now they are so old they barely leave my parents bedroom. but i love them never the less.

one dog...two bodies. no lie they are always almost doing the same thing, laying the same way, etc.

src="http://i54.photobucket.com/albums/g100/reinabella04/baby/puppies/002_2.jpg" border="0" alt="puppy pic"> I was working at petsmart in the grooming dept and begged my parents for a dog. they agreed they got me a chiuahuah (the dog i wanted) they gave her to me for my xmas/bday present of 05. she is 4 now. i remember i prepared for her arrival as if i were pregnant. haha. she was my pride and joy. i named her chichi cuz when i would write an appt for chiuahuah in the books i would put chi and my mom called me chichona (a girl with big boobs ...lol..thus where chichi's come from when refering to breasts. lol. so a friend dared me to name her chichi and the name stuck) a few days after chichi came to be my lil baby my mom recieved her newest baby as a present from her boss. my mom had come across a lil puppy that she wanted while looking for one for me. however i told my mother that i wanted a female (females can be spayed and dont lift their legs everywhere) and i wanted to doll her up in pink. so she couldnt get me her dream puppy. so her boss got her the dream dog. my mom named her lil tea cup chiuahuah peewee cuz he is so tiny.

chichi is so sweet and skiddish and isnt very doggy social. she isnt my baby anymore about 6 months after i got her i joined the army and my parents became her parents. i love it when moises (my son) goes to kiss chichi on the head and she growls and acts like she is gonna rip his face off and when he gets close enough to kiss her she kisses him.

don't u wish ur puppy was hot like me?
peewee is the center of my moms universe. he has the worst habit of peeing on everything and he is madly in love with cinderella. he is a nympho with cinderella's tail. no lie this tiny lil 4lb dog humps my 80lbs dogs tail on a regular basis through out the day. he is super protective of my son and when my son cries he howls. lol. its the funniest thing in the world.

cindy y peewee
this is my favorite pic of cindy and peewee from a few years back before peewee fell in love with cindy.

i love all my furry four legged babies!

What is/are your dog's name(s)? Codie.
How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? He's about 2 1/2. I adopted him a year and a half ago.
How did they become a part of your family? I adopted him from the humane society.
Why did you choose that breed? Look at him! He's adorable!
Can they do any tricks? Not many. He's lazy. Sit, lie down, shake, up and roll over.
Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch. He has severe separation anxiety. The humane society rescued him from a big puppy mill and he'd never had a home before. He's totally attached to me and follows me everywhere, but I think it's cute. He's really smart and sweet. :)

Oh man, we just recently got Doobie out of having a terrible problem with separation anxiety. Well, he still acts crazy when we leave him and he is like our shadow. It took a long time but I think it was from the fact that we got him when he was three months old and he was the runt of the litter.

What is/are your dog's name(s)? Her name is Miss Piggy but I call her PiggleWiggle, PigPig, PiggyPigPig. Lol.
How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? She was about 6 months when I got her.
How did they become a part of your family? I actually got her from my sister cause she had to get rid of Miss Piggy.
Why did you choose that breed? I didn't choose her based on her breed, I chose to take her so my niece and nephew wouldn't really lose their dog.
Can they do any tricks? No. She can't even sit!
Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch: She loves putting on her sweater when it gets cold. She loves dressing up and when the mailman comes on the porch she just licks him to death. She'll bark at people but once they get close enough she goes crazy to lick them.

What is/are your dog's name(s)? BYRON
How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? Byron has been with me since September 2005. He's 4 and a half.
How did they become a part of your family? I miscarried and I just needed something to live... I went to the RSPCA just for a look and fell in love with Byron instantly. He's my baby.
Why did you choose that breed? I wasn't particularly worried about the breed. In fact I chose him before really knowing what he was. He was cute :) I do love cattle dogs tho. He's a kelpie x terrier.
Can they do any tricks? No, lol, he's pretty useless. He sits, lays down. He slept through puppy school :P Although, would you count jumping up in to my arms as a trick?!
Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch: Byron, well... if he was a human child he would probably he diagnosed with ADHD. He is off the charts hyper and totally cannot pay attention to anything. But he's beautiful. He's loving and sweet and energetic. He was very very skittish when I first got him, and was for a long time, but he has totally come out of his shell since I got him another puppy 2 years go. He loves carrots (raw) and will take them over a bone. And he has JUST learnt how to fetch, after 4 years of hoping and begging and pleading hahah.

What is/are your dog's name(s)? FLOYD
How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? Floyd is 2 and a half years old, and we've had him since July 2007
How did they become a part of your family? I was walking Byron to the vet and stopped in at the petbarn to grab him some treats. As I walked in I came face to face to Floyd. I took one look at him, and knew I had to have him. I had wanted to get Byron a play mate (to stop him escaping the yard!) and also wanted to get my boyfriend a puppy to cheer him up). I took Ty back later that day and we got him!
Why did you choose that breed? I love cattle dogs, and after having Byron... I knew it would be a good choice of dog. He's a Blue Heeler.
Can they do any tricks? He sits, shakes hands, won't eat his food until you shake his hand and rub under his chin, he fetches and returns the ball at your feet
Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch: Floyd is a sweety. He's a big baby, and a real sook. If he hurts himself he sulks and cries like it's the end of the world! He loves his soccer ball and as soon as we pull in the drive way he is sitting in the centre of the yard and has the ball in his mouth. He loves his tummy being rubbed. He's a good guard dog, and he is incredibly loyal. He was very protective of me when I was pregnant, to the point I couldn't let him around people.

What is/are your dog's name(s)? Maggie is the light color one and Little Nicky is the darker one.

How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? Maggie is 2. Little Nicky is 9 weeks old this week.

How did they become a part of your family? Maggie was delivered to me by my BFF. He knew I wanted a chihuahua and was missing Casper. He bought her from a breeder online and had them delivered to me in August this year. Little Nicky was bought by my husband. The breeder got rid of the litter at 4 weeks old and said she was weened. She was not. We had some long nights but worth it. I love my both of my babies.

Why did you choose that breed? I have always wanted a chihuahua and wanted to dress them up. They love to wear their little outfits and it keeps them warm.

Can they do any tricks? Maggie can sit and she will sit pretty for her treat. She is teaching Little Nicky that as well.

Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch: They are both spoiled rotten. Little Nicky wakes up in the middle of the night and thinks she has to get in bed with us. She goes to my husband's side of the bed and starts jumping and whinning till he wakes up and puts her up there. Maggie likes to snuggle under the covers with you.

Sorry if the pics are big.

What is/are your dog's name(s)? His name is Oliver but I call him anything I can think of (pumpkin, nugget, squisher, stinker, noon-ner, etc.)
How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? I got him at 6 weeks but I held him when he was 3 days old.
How did they become a part of your family? My friends mom's dog was having puppies and I wanted one. :)
Why did you choose that breed? He was small and I could take care of him better (I'm littler so it's hard to walk big dogs), I already knew a LOT about the breed.
Can they do any tricks? Uh yeah, he can beg REALLY well. :)
Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch: He likes dressing up. When I pull out one of his shirts he dances and "sings". He is incredibly protective over me. He doesn't like Root Beer. He thinks he's 10 feet tall (like most small dogs). I lover him.

My favorite picture of him at 6 weeks.

6 months.

I've had big dogs all my life [we had 2 huskies and a rottweiler] so when I made the decision to get Oliver it was more because I had never had a small dog before. He's REALLY active and loves to run with me and his favorite thing is running BIG circles in the back yard. :] Poms bark A LOT but it's more of a protective bark? He doesn't just bark at anything - he barks when something startles him. Then he calms right down!

okay, so she thinks she's a dog ;D

What is/are your dog's name(s)? Lily Skye.
How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? she was about four weeks old.
How did they become a part of your family? hm.. courtney, my roommate wanted a duck. i went to the community sales and bought two that we named johnny and june. it was too early to tell the gender and when we found out they were both girls they became lily and lucy. lucy got sick and died when she was about four months old.
Why did you choose that breed? ..
Can they do any tricks? she was the master begger. if she saw you with something she wanted she would follow you around and tilt her head to the left and look up at you with sad little eyes. if you didn't give it to her, she'd peck your toes.
Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch: when we had both ducks we were keeping them in a box in the bathroom while we were gone. they were about two months old when they started jumping out of the box. they knew it was wrong and when we'd open the door and catch them they'd run. lucy would hide behind the toilet and lily would try to jump back in the box. lily's feet were always just a little too big and when she ran too fast they'd overlap and she'd face plant onto the floor. she always tried to get to our plates when we had them on the coffee table because she never did figure out that her beak wouldn't go through the glass. she loved apple cake, tomatoes, and tuna. once when courtney left a plate with ranch sitting next to the couch she dipped her whole head in it and we had to chase her away. if we said the word 'bath' she ran to the bathroom and tried to jump in. she was very timid with anyone but dustin, courtney, and i. if anyone else came over she hid behind the tv or couch. she didn't like to be held as she got older but she would come sit next to you on the couch. she was a general pain to clean up after and we went through a lot of resolve. anytime the front door opened she chirped her little heart out. she never did develop a full blown quack, though she was getting there.. she thought she was a dog and she ate out of dog bowls and had a collar. we took her to the park to live with the other ducks when she got her head stuck under the couch. we were so worried about her but we went back every day for a while to check on her and they accepted her.

this is when we first got them.

this is when we let her go. i wish i had gotten one of her with the other ducks =(.

What is/are your dog's name(s)? Tucker (Tuckie, Tuckie D, Goof)
How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? We got him at 6 weeks and 6 days old
How did they become a part of your family? I bought him for my husband for Christmas 2008. He's now 1 year and 1 month old.
Why did you choose that breed? We chose a Golden Retriever because it's Frankie's favorite type of dog. His aunt has always had one as a seeing eye dog.
Can they do any tricks? Umm he sits and lays and some other stuff that he wasn't taught :P
Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch: He is really just kind of a 'ditzy blonde' type. He's super goofy, super hyper, but sweet as can be. He is a bit pushy when he wants love but he's a gem of a dog.

This is him at 22 weeks old.

What is/are your dog's name(s)? Sadie (Sadie Bell, Little girl, Sadie baby)
How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? Last Saturday (11/14/2009)! She's between two and four years old.
How did they become a part of your family? I got her at the PetSmart National Adoption event.
Why did you choose that breed? I love Spaniels, and I was hoping for a smaller dog to be my lap baby. I have really wanted a King Charles for awhile.
Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch: She is really, really shy still since she was neglected for so long. We are just working on everything. She is a sweet heart. She's super calm and loves to sleep.

It's gotta be huge cause it's my favorite picture of her lol

What is/are your dog's name(s)? Zoey (AKA: Zoey Bowie, Fazoo Zoo, Zoey Monster, and Damnit Zoey!)

How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? We got her on fourth of July weekend a little over two years ago, when she was roughly 5-6 weeks old. Dude told us she was a lot older than she was. We think she's about two and a half now.

How did they become a part of your family? A year after we lost our old dog Ziggy, we talked about it and decided we were ready for another dog. Ziggy was the best dog ever by the way... Zoey comes in a pretty close second.

Why did you choose that breed? We didn't lol. We have no idea what kind of mix she is but have considered haveing her tested. You can do that you know. They have a blood test for dogs to identify the major breeds in mutts. IT's pretty cool. My bet is Whippett/Boxer/Chow

Can they do any tricks? She can sit, lay down, roll over, give you paw (though for some reason she doesn't like that one) and she'll sit up pretty for a treat... you don't even have to give a visual comand for that one. Just say "Pretty!" and she sits up. I taight her most of the tricks.

Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch:
If we leave her alone (or she thinks she's alone) she tosses her little head bakc and howls. It's cute... and she's also one of the most cowardly dogs ever. List of things she's afraid of...
Pumpkins (and other large round objects: Kickballs, basketballs, ect), leave blowers or any loud lawn equipment, my ratt Twyla, plastic bags, and she really hates motercycles. Not so good aroudn other dogs sometimes, untill she's had a little while to get used to them. Also she's terrified of the basement and the steps leading down to the basement, as that's where she gets a bath.
She seems to have a pension for taking the box of fabric softener sheets, removing them from the box (every single one, hence "Damnit Zoey!") spreding them out on the floor and rolling in them. Rubs her face all like she's in heaven, the little wierdo lol.

@ 1 and 1/2 years old. around 80lbs.

What is/are your dog's name(s)? Riley. aka riley-bones
How old are they/When did they become a part of your family?
we got him when he was 8 weeks old
How did they become a part of your family?
we knew we wanted a big dog and was researching which one. we met a girl who had one and fell in love with the breed and got him a couple weeks later
Why did you choose that breed?
size and temperment (he's a bernese mountain dog)
Can they do any tricks?
he does many tricks: "teddy bear" (sit pretty but since he's a boy he's a teddy bear), be shy (puts his paw over his nose) touch, high five/ shake. leave it. take a bow. speak. all the basic commands plus more... i'm sure i'm missing more
Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch:
riley loves pretty much everyone! he's CGC (canine good citizened) and TDI (therapy dog international) we're going to start obeidiance rally with him. he'll do anything to make you happy and he loves to work. he can learn and knew trick within minutes, but if it comes to him trying to figure something out on his own it's a lost cause. for instance he has no idea that he can walk over a baby gate. he's also gotten himself stuck under a picnic table- he scooted under then stood up and couldn't figure out how to get back out. :-p he's a also a lap dog (as you can tell)

in the car on the way home with Sadie, 10/28/09

Her XXS sweater, which is still too big

When w got her she was 1lb 8oz, and was smaller than my AE boot! :)

Sadie now, she still is less than 3lbs, but she is longer & taller :)

What is/are your dog's name(s)? Sadie
How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? she is 1 year and two months now, we got her in October 2008 for my birthday
How did they become a part of your family? We were interested in getting a SMALL dog for our apartment because my husband worked night shift, so we looked in the paper and found her and we went to look at her and had to have her!
Why did you choose that breed? she is what they call a "fashion" puppy, and she was small. She is a mix of a chihuahua and a daschund. She was the smallest in the litter, and I expected her to be at least 6 lbs, but she hasnt gotten any bigger than almost 3 pounds. She is SO tiny! Its like having a puppy forever, which is what I wanted.
Can they do any tricks? he does many tricks: umm, no...lol
Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch:sadie is WIDE open! She is super spastic and loves to run and play, she loves to sleep in the bed if we let her (only under the covers and on my legs), she seperates her dog food before she eats it, and she LOVES kids and our cat, Stash. Oh, and she CONSTANTLY humps this lion toy she has...its so gross. Lol.
