Haha - I thought the second one looked like a Christmas cake! The first is my fave - they look like proper knickers from Primark or Tesco! ;D I think the second is the only serious one though.

You can buy dog underwear that cover her up. After this heat, you could get her fixed and you won't have the problem anymore.

they make doggie diapers u can put on females. u can go to petsmart and ask for them. i got my female spayed as soon as she was old enough just so i wouldnt have to deal with that sort of thing.

Yeah they make doggie diapers, I remember just putting a big diaper on my dog and cutting out a hole for her tail. We only had to do it a couple times though, cause she didn't like the underwear and would usually try to bite it off lol. It was a huge pain, and we just got her fixed. I had a German Shepard though.

If your dog doesn't do well with a doggie diaper, you can do what my neighbor did. She got pinned up in the kitchen where there was linoleum floors during her heat. My neighbor is retired, and stayed with her most of the time to keep her clean, and the linoleum floors could be cleaned if blood got on them.

Yep, that works too. Unless the doggie in question is crate trained, it can make for an interesting week.

Thankfully we only went through this once when our pitt bitch was in heat. She is fixed now, but that was quite fun with her chewing off the diapers. Non-stainable flooring or crate training makes it much easier. *nods*

I just have to ask... what is an "indoor dog"? Never have I, in my life, heard of someone wanting to keep their dog indoors... :S

My parents dogs are indoor dogs. They go out to do their thing, and come back in straight after. I think it's cruel.
My dogs are indoor/outdoor. They are allowed in, but they spend their day playing in the yard and the sun.

Same, here a dog would be taken away by the RSPCA if the owners refused to allow it to go outside, and if someone lives somewhere unsafe for a dog to go out, then they shouldn't be getting a dog in the first place.

Indoor means that she stays inside unless we are outside with her, or she is in the backyard. Most people here will leave their dog outside 24/7 which I think is mean. Its not like we keep her locked inside the entire time lol. Our backyard is 1/2 an acre thats fenced in so she does get to run around and play. :)

My dog is an "indoor" dog - it just means that we don't leave him outside if we aren't home, and in poor conditions, he's inside. To me, outside dog - means a dog that rarely comes inside - and then, what's the point in having one? :) I like to interact with my doggie - but he def. goes outside!

i have an 4 indoor dogs. our dogs usually never leave the house except to go to the backyard to do their business. we keep our lil dogs indoors cuz they are so small my mom is scared some wild bird will steal them and our big dogs are too old to care enough to want out of the house.
