This is my favorite pic of her:

Photobucket

What is/are your dog's name(s)? My dog's name is PixieBoo aka Pixar, Little Boo, & my favorite Lil' Diva
How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? She is a little over a year old, we adopted her from the pound after finding her on Petfinder.com
How did they become a part of your family? My husband saw her picture online & fell in love with her in a instant so we scheduled a meeting with the pound that was holding her, we met her the very next day, 3 days after that she went home with us.
Why did you choose that breed? I was going for a pitbull, found PixieBoo, the pound told us she was a pitbull, I called B.S because I knew that she wasn't a purebred however, she seemed to have a little pitbull in her + a lot of boxer breed so we decided to save her from being put down & we took her home with us.
Can they do any tricks? She dances, sits, talks & tells stories, and she cuddles. She's not really a trick doing kind of dog, she's more of a little lovely cuddle bug.
Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch: my dog is a Gemini/Cancer, she is VERY sensitive (hates being yelled at or punished for anything). When she does something she knows she shouldn't, she hides in her bed & her right leg does this twitchy kick thing. If she does something she thinks is ok but later finds out it's not ok, she will roll over on her back and smile @ who ever is trying to scold her (it's so funny!). Pixie is full of energy 99.9% of the time, she is shy & timid around new people (mostly kids due to their unpredictable nature). She's a priss & she doesn't mind having her nails painted (pink & a sorta soft tone of cerulean are her colours). She's is such a funny little girl~ she earned the nickname "Diva" after she broke one of her nails on her left front paw (it was bad, the entire nail was ripped from the nail bed but still attached & sticking straight up). After Pixie broke her nail, I had to take her to see my Aunt who is a vet & OMG, my dog made such a fuss over the whole ordeal!!! DIVA!!! :D :D :D Oh, & she loves to go for rides in my car. When we go to Starbucks drive thro, they give her a lid full of whipped cream. :) She's a spoiled little girl!!! ♥

What is/are your dog's name(s)?
Buddy

How old are they/When did they become a part of your family?
Roughly 5 years old. He was with us for ten wonderful years - he was 15 when he got sick enough to cause personality changes, and was euthanized shortly afterward.

How did they become a part of your family?
After our first dog Peggy died, we replied to an ad in the paper under the Free section. The family that had him at the time had another dog, as well as a couple of cats, and a small townhouse with a tiny yard. Buddy was a stray that followed them home one day, but he loved to run and had no place to do so, so they decided they couldn't keep him any longer.

Why did you choose that breed?
No one ever did figure out what he was. But people often described him as "so ugly he's cute" XD

Can they do any tricks?
He loooooooved to shake a paw. He played "guess which hand the treat's in" rather well, and hide and seek too!

Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch:
He was incredibly social, and tended to sniff out physically disabled people. He'd often run away, only to be found at a disabled person's house elsewhere in the neighbourhood. He loved cats - always tried to make friends with the next door neighbour's antisocial black cat, and played well with my sister's (not so smart) cat Charcoal. He hated when people fought. Raised voices scared him, but he was VERY protective of the victim if a hand was raised against another, going so far as to bite the attacker. Yes, this had happened in my presence before. He was incredibly smart and intuitive, cuddly, and he loved belly rubs. He had a heart murmer most of his life, but was otherwise healthy until his last year, and he acted like a silly puppy that whole time. hehe

this is paddy on my 21st. he didn't appreciate the streamers.

he is twelve at the moment. we got him in '97. our last labrador had just been put down for mauling another dog, so we wanted another one. we'd only ever had yellow labs, this was our first black one.

we've only ever had labs. my dad likes them. they're happy go lucky and enjoy just being in the room. they're never desperate for a walk, they're just happy to be where the pack's at.

paddy is certainly an interesting dog. he likes to be scratched and growls when you do it. kinda like purring. people shit themselves when they pat him if they don't know him lol. he crosses his paws when he begs for food, he also barks if he thinks you're taking too long to feed him. both things my brother encouraged. he does a bit of a "dance" when you feed him, in that he spins around in a circle. he can shake with either paw and will give you both if he's sure he won't fall over. he gets embarrassed if you dress him up. he's afraid of anything loud, like thunder or the smoke alarm, or the vacuum. lately he's started having a whinge after he's fed. he wanders around whining. we think it's just old man syndrome lol.

Oooh, time for procrastination!!

What was your dog's name?
Starr

How old are they/When did they become a part of your family?
He became part of our family when I was in the fifth grade (11 or so?) and died more than a year ago. :( He was the best dog I think I'll ever have. But, it's usually hard for any dog to top your childhood dog.

How did they become a part of your family?
My mom and sister found him in a kennel.

Why did you choose that breed?
Didn't choose him because of his breed (Husky / Border Collie mix).

Can they do any tricks?
I taught him to sit, lay down, and roll over. He learned it surprisingly quickly.

Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch:
He was a VERY protective dog of my sister and me. My dad used to do this thing where he'd pretend to hit us (to tease my dog) and he'd clap his hands together to make the sound and my dog would freak out and start jumping on my dad, but he'd never bite him (because he's my dad and my dog loved him).

He also saved my cat from another dog! I now begin to wonder if I had dreamt this because it's just so fantastic, but my sister swore she saw it, too. We used to have a tabby named Tigger (great cat) and I must've just let Starr out because I was standing at the door and my dog goes running across the street and intercepts this dog that was going for my cat. It was amazing. (My cat just sort of nonchalantly walked back to the house the way cocky cats do.) They (my cat and dog) got along very well, though. My dog didn't like children (bad experience with my terrible cousins) but he liked cats, and my cats would nudge him and sit by him and he'd just sit there and look at them. ;D

I think he thought he was our little brother. I miss him a lot. :(

My parent's new dog does not even remotely stand up to him. He's a Giant Schnauzer and a pain in the butt, but cute. Thankfully, I don't have to live with the trouble he causes! ;D

I do miss being able to have a pet. Stupid apartment life.

Awww, thank you! My mother said the same thing about this picture I had taken of my dog as he yawned: (I was in a black and white photography class, with a camera from the 1970s, so sorry about the poor quality, I still wasn't used to the camera...)

Taken when Brady was 9 months, Rocky was about 5 months old. My favorite all time picture of him. Although he's about 90 pounds now

What is/are your dog's name(s)? Rocky Rebel AKA Rock, Rockstar, and Rock n Roll

How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? Rocky is 14 months old

How did they become a part of your family? My boys got him a Christmas present last year

Why did you choose that breed? We wanted a dog that would be loyal to the boys and that they wouldn't be able to 'break' so to speak. My family has always had labs and they're generally good natured dogs.

Can they do any tricks? If begging for your food is a trick, then yes he's a master. :-D He shakes and gives high fives-thats about it

Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch: He's terrified of loud noises-especially the vacuum and hates when I blow dry my hair. When he was a puppy he would sleep with us during thunderstorms. He'll eat anything. I have to keep an eye on him when I feed the cat or he'll eat her food as well as his...and anything left within his reach on the counter/table. He loves our boys to death-although he's been known to topple our little one. He's a real pain sometimes and tends to destroy some things. But I wouldn't give him up for anything.

i wonder if loud noises is a lab thing? lol. mine hides under beds when there's a storm, or if someone's cooking. he's afraid the smoke alarm will go off.

Thats too funny about the smoke alarm thing. Has your lab eaten anything interesting? The things that Rocky has eaten could fill a book. Did you ever see 'Marley & Me'? I feel like I'm living that! Our dog snuck into our basement and tore the cushions out of the couch down there! Not to mention the time I left him home alone and he ate through our drywall. Thankfully he's outgrowing his puppy-ness and not really tearing up too much stuff anymore.

oh ours has a penchant for socks. he ate one of my mum's knee length ones as a pup and nearly bloody died. they were on the way to the vet's to have him seen to when he just up and pooped it out. did that stop him? no. can't leave socks out around here. he'll steal any pack of chips or candy if you leave it on a coffee table over night lol. i've also caught him face first in his kibble because someone didn't put the lid back on properly. the bugger had eaten half the tub! and it's a massive tub! he probably would've kept going until he exploded.

What is/are your dog's name(s)? Barney, his first owner called him it, he had learnt his name when we bought him so it had to stay. We often call him, barney rubble, barn face and barn egg.

How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? Around three months

How did they become a part of your family? My mum had always said if we had a dog it would have to be a poodle as they don't shed their fur so no fur to hoover up all day and it wouldn't effect dads asthma. We were in town and saw an advert for a toy poodle puppy in a petshop window, so we were talking about it all weekend, dad thought mum was depressed that she couldn't have a dog (haha she wasn't!), so for that reason dad let us go to the owners to house to see what he was like, then me and my sister pretty much forced out mum to get him.

Why did you choose that breed? As above, toy poodles don't shed their fur and he is nice and small

Can they do any tricks? No!

Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch: He is very weird, if you hit things, such as hitting the sofa cushions to plump them up, he barks like mad and nips your hands to stop you from hurting the cushion! He cries when you play wii as well as he thinks you are hurting the tv. If you are walking him and he sees a dog he will often cry until you let him go and sniff them to say hello, or he will randomly decided growling at the biggest dog in the world is a really good idea!
He has a girlfriend, it is a little red furry bed mat, if you ask him where his girlfriend he will go and find her then hump her, if you have hidden her he will cry and just walk around humping the air.
He is very very jealous, if you are reading the paper he will jump on your knee or paw at the paper so you have to pay him attention, if you stroke another dog he starts crying.
He is scared of our cat, when he is laid out on the sofa she will jump up and he will get off almost straight away and then she will lay in his spot, so now she sits in all his favourite spots, especially the windowsill.
He will eat anything, apart from his own food of course.
He tries to look at you so you don't notice, he will be laying down and he will just move his eyes to look at you, as soon as you look in his direction he looks away really quickly.
When he wants something, normally your food, if you are sat on the sofa he sits on the floor in front of you and cries, because our flood is wooden his back legs slide apart, so he has to shuffle backwards to close his legs. As he is so used to that happening when he begs, even on carpet he will stand up and take a step backwards while he is begging!

What is/are your dog's name(s)? Bailey
How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? We got her when she was 2, she's now 5.
How did they become a part of your family? My mom saw her at the pet store and fell in love.
Why did you choose that breed? We've always liked poodles (we've had three standard poodles), and like I said, my mom just loved her. She pretty much doesn't shed, which is nice.
Can they do any tricks? Just the usual - lifts up her paw and stuff. She loves to jump for her toys lol.
Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch: She's crazzzzzzzzzzzy. Very bouncy. And has weird eating habits - she's not into food much. She gets allergies in the springtime so she has to go on steroids (yep.... steroids. Haha). She's afraid of strangers, but once she gets to know you, then you're FRIENDZ FOR LYFE!!!!. She wants desperately to be small enough to be a lap dog. Even though she's too big, she tries anyway.

What is/are your dog's name(s)? Norbert or Peanut
How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? Got him when he was 8 weeks old been with us since so what 6 years now
How did they become a part of your family? My aunt had fostered him from the rescue she works at and when we went to visit we feel in love with him.
Why did you choose that breed? Cause my mom had a thing for hounds
Can they do any tricks? Shack and sit he was speaking for awhile
Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch: When we got him he had frostbitten pads and walking out in the cold was so hard for him. He would cry at us if we took him out for to long but now he loves snow! He takes his whole head and bury it just to be cute.

What is/are your dog's name(s)? Doobie.
How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? He is a year and three months old. We got him when he was three months old.
How did they become a part of your family? We actually found him on craigslist.
Why did you choose that breed? To be honest, we were told by the owners that he was a pitbull and mini dachshund mixed. I wanted a pitbull and my girlfriend wanted a small dog. So we thought that we would get one of those puppies because it's what we both wanted and we knew that we only wanted to get one dog at the time. But a good two months after getting him, we knew for sure that he was defiantly only mini dachshund.
Can they do any tricks? Doobie knows how to sit, speak, roll over, play dead, and lay down. He's so easy to train.
Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch: This dog is very playful, energetic, super curious, rambunctious, and terrified of different things. He hates vaccums, blow dryers, and strange people. On laundry day, we are always missing socks and such because of him. Ha. We swear that Doobie was human in his past life. He loves to cuddle, be held, he sits in the corner of the couch like a little kid, loves to get a bath, and he loves to wear clothes. He will bring you a piece of his clothing by mouth and drop it in front of you. And he will continue to bark at you until you put it on him. L0L. If he isn't laying on a pillow and under the covers, then he refuses to sleep. Lmfao. Car rides are probably his favorite thing of all, though. When our shoes go on, yo can find him sitting at the front door, whining for us to take him. Doobie for sure thinks he is some huge mean dog because he loves to try to take on bigger dogs at the dog park.

What is/are your dog's name(s)? Polly

How old are they/When did they become a part of your family? She was 10 in August.

How did they become a part of your family? We bought her a few weeks after our last dog died.

Why did you choose that breed? Because we love spaniels and they are SO cute!

Can they do any tricks? We balance a chew stick on her head, and when we say 'ok', she will flick it up and catch it. Pretty cool.

Tell us about your dog's personality/likes/dislikes, or feel free to add a few random facts about your precious pooch: She's really naughty. She whines a lot and she is very demanding. She loves to steal socks and bark at any noise. She has got SUCH a personality though and is so funny that you can't get mad at her. When she was a puppy she used to chew the telephone wire, and she also ripped up a carpet. She has chewed up my dad's mobile phone, my mom's makeup bag and ironically, a puppy training book. So naughty!
