Oh I do love my sweet tea! But there are some places here in Florida that only have Iced Tea. I am VERYYYY picky about where I order tea from, because I know there is a 50/50 chance where it might not be sweet.... and putting sugar in a cold drink is a waste of sugar and stirring LOL. But sweet tea is AWESOME! and Def the drink of the south! :-D. I hate when I go to Kansas City to visit my best friend, because they dont have any kind of sweet tea except at the QuikTrip LOL

GOSH, I SAT AT WORK ON THE COUNTER WITH MY HUGE BAG OF CRISPS, EATING THEM WITH A BIG SMILE ON MY FACE, AND ALL MY COLLEAGUES TOOK PICS, AND MY BOSS CAME AND TOLD ME OFF, YO! ;D

sweet tea and iced tea are two totally different drinks - i found that out when i was in virginia in november. iced tea is generally served sweetened here, but sweet tea is tea-flavoured SYRUP. it made my teeth hurt, and i LIKE iced tea. lol!

You're kidding?!! They sell it over here, although like I said before, it's not too popular. You can get a 1.5 litre bottle in supermarkets of Lipton lemon ice tea. I really recommend it!
Have you never been abroad? Because Ice Tea is very popular in other European countries. Along with Lemon Fanta haha.

I'm all about the American portions, yo!! British ones are just too damn small! At least when you're in the states and you ask for a large, you GET a large!
And you can totally buy Walkers crisps in the big ol' American sizes now, too. They're about twice the size of the grab bags, and I regularly eat two in one go! :-/

haha i live in hawaii and at the coffee shop i work at we have hot and iced tea. . . but we make our iced tea, we'll make a regular black tea, make it in bulk and add ice...same with green tea. . . and then we have that icky lipton powder tea as well. We also have really small bags of chips here too, smaller than in the mainland that i've seen. i've always wanted to try sweet tea!

I live in Arkansas. When you ask for tea, it's assumed you mean Iced. We are considered part of the South, y'know. Not so much though that they assume you want sweet tea. Most places in my town sell both sweet and unsweetened tea. My husband's family is pretty picky about it too. My husband and stepson request half & half when asked. Half sweet & half unsweet.
Now, where I grew up in Arizona, the only sweet tea was sold in southern comfort food-type restaurants. Everything else was unsweet brewed or sun tea. My parents used to set out a gallon jug full of water and 5 or 6 'Family Size' tea bags out in the sun in the morning and then bring it back in when they got home. Add a couple of ice cubes and voila!
