You know, I don't consider my fatness a necessary 'problem'. However, my left arm? DEFINITELY more pudgy than the right! ;D
My back sort of sucks. I blame it for how I sit a lot of the time. And not stretching out properly.
Near-sighted
My left ear buzzes if music gets too loud. Has for YEARS.

Aubrey, I doubt with the ace + overweight is getting you less dates. Confidence shines, even when you're a big girl. You can't just fall back on the crutch of flab like so many other's do.

How true! I know loads of guys who have gone out with model looking girls, and then finished it because they have nothing of substance about them.

A decent personality and being confident will always win over, eventually! ;)

I have asthma, IBS, M.E., depression, pulmonary stenosis (one of the valves in my heart is pretty useless), ASD (atrial septal defect, a 9mm hole between the top chambers of my heart), suspected endometriosis (they won't test for it because they don't want to give me anaesthetic due to my heart problems), really low blood pressure, naughty veins that don't act in the normal way (I had surgery a few months back and they couldn't get a shunt into one of my veins because it had scarred, and then they managed to tear a vein in my chest which shouldn't have happened as they barely touched it).
I'm also allergic to ibuprofen and plasters (and therefore the sticky stuff from any heart monitoring stuff) and have hayfever.
I think that's everything.

OOH, LIKE ME, YO - SUSPECTED IBS AND SUSPECTED ENDOMETRIOSIS. DOES YOUR DOC THINK THEY ARE TOTALLY SEPARATE OR THAT IT COULD EITHER BE ONE OR THE OTHER (LIKE, EITHER PERIOD-RELATED IBS, OR BOWEL-RELATED ENDO)? BECAUSE IBS IS TOTALLY ONLY DIAGNOSED BY ELIMINATION, AND IF THEY HAVEN'T ELIMINATED ENDO, THEN THEY TOTALLY CAN'T KNOW - THAT IS HOW IT IS FOR ME. I WON'T GET TESTED FOR ENDO EITHER, BUT WITH ME IT'S BECAUSE I'M TOTALLY TOO SCARED TO GET GENERAL ANAESTHETIC!

Doc thinks they're seperate because I have IBS all the time, but he's not bothered to send me for any elimination tests because they won't do them. So who knows. He thinks there's some endo-tissue on my bowel though, and probably bladder too, but they don't know for sure.
General anaesthetic is nasty, so I don't blame you there.

WHY DOES HE THINK THERE IS ENDO TISSUE ON YOUR BOWEL IF HE HASN'T DONE THE TESTS TO LOOK, YO? LIKE, DOES YOUR PAIN GET A LOT WORSE BEFORE YOUR PERIOD?

Yeah, I get really bad IBS before and during my period, pooing = not nice. But they did an ultrasound and couldn't see anything (apart from fibriods, oops should add those to the list) but obviously they can't see much with an ultrasound. They should do the camera through the belly thing but they won't.
It's all complete guesswork though, and there's nothing he can do about it either way.

YES, YO - TOTALLY SOUNDS LIKE ME. I HAVE A FIBROID - BUT ULTRASOUNDS CAN'T SEE ENDO, SO YOU NEED THE CAMERA IN YOUR BELLY BUTTON, WHICH I TOTALLY WON'T HAVE.

APPARENTLY THEY CAN ZAP THE ENDO WITH LASERS IF YOU HAVE THE SURGERY - I KNOW PEOPLE WHO HAVE THIS, AND IT WORKS FOR THEM, ALTHOUGH ONLY FOR A FEW YEARS, THEN THEY NEED IT REDONE. PERSONALLY, I JUST GO FOR BEING REALLY CAREFUL WITH MY DIET AND DOING LOTS OF FAST WALKING UP AND DOWN HILLS - THIS IS WHAT WORKS FOR ME, ALTHOUGH SOMETIMES I'M LAZY AND DON'T DO IT, AND THEN THE PAIN IS TOTALLY WORSE. GOSH, YO - WOMBS ARE SUCH ANNOYING THINGZ!

Yeah, my best friend has it, and had that, although hers is back being very evil again. When they did it the 1st time they botched it up slightly and caused some pretty major scarring of their own, so they're reluctant to do it again.

I'm really careful with my diet, anything really yummy or easy is out.
Thanks to my M.E. exercise is pretty much a no no, which sucks because I do think it'd help.
I rely on lots of lovely hot water bottles filled with boiling water, and drugs from the doc which don't help too much.

HAVE YOU TRIED THE ALL RAW DIET, YO? THAT IS SUPPOSED TO HELP M.E. AND ENDO. I SOMETIMES TRY IT FOR, LIKE, A COUPLE OF DAYS, BUT NOT FOR LONG - I LIKE MY COOKED FOOD TOO MUCH! ;D

CAN YOU EAT SUSHI? I CAN EAT SUSHI - IT IS JOLLY YUMMY, YO! LAMB CHOPS ARE ANOTHER YUMMY! WHEN YOU HAVE A SENSITIVE STOMACH, LAMB, RICE AND PEARS ARE SUPPOSEDLY THE LEAST LIKELY TO CAUSE PAIN. I CAN TOTALLY EAT THEM WITH NO PAIN AT ALL. AND I PUT DROPS OF PEPPERMINT OIL INTO HOT WATER AND DRINK IT - THAT IS ALWAYS GOOD, YO. I HAVE WHEAT BAGS NOW INSTEAD OF HOT WATER BOTTLES - LIKE I TOTALLY BOUGHT A MICROWAVE SPECIALLY, SO THAT I COULD USE WHEAT BAGS! ;D

No I haven't.
I live in the middle of the countryside so no sushi places around here. :(
I've not tried the raw diet but raw veggies tend to play me up if I eat any more then a small helping. I did try going lactose free, and then cutting out all wheat, but neither made any difference.
Pasta is a life saver for me, I have a couple of sauces that don't play me up so I eat a lot of pasta.

Wheat bags smell nice but they don't seem to get, or stay as hot, as my hot water bottles. I used to have a gel filled one and that got really hot but alas it started to leak.

SUPERMARKETS SELL LITTLE SUSHI PACKS HERE, YO - LIKE, AS ALTERNATIVES TO SANDWICHES. I LOVE THEM - I AM ALWAYS BUYING THEM.

WHEN MY PAINS ARE REALLY BAD, I CAN'T EAT WHEAT - ANYTHING WITH WHEAT IN IT GIVES ME NASTY PAINS. HOWEVER, I EAT WHEAT WHEN THE PAINS ARE NOT SO BAD - GOSH, THEN I GORGE ON ALL THE TASTY THINGS, WHICH IS NOT REALLY A VERY GOOD IDEA! OUT OF CURIOSITY, HOW LONG DID YOU GO WHEAT-FREE AND LACTOSE-FREE FOR?

GOSH, MY WHEAT BAGS GET TOTALLY HOT. ALTHOUGH THEY DO COOL DOWN SOONER THAN HOT WATER BOTTLES. I JUST FIND HOT WATER BOTTLES FIDDLY - I ALWAYS FORGET TO EMPTY THEM!

They sell them here too, but it worries me how long they sit out for. Might try one next time I go to tesco.

When my pains are bad I can't eat as I get really nauseous as well, but big no-nos all the time is fizzy drinks, sweets, ready meals or anything really processed, anything really sweet, too many veggies, anything spicy or with lots of herbs and spices in, most takeout etc...
I was lactose free for a month, wheat free for a couple of weeks, then I had a blood test done to see if I was gluten intolerant and I wasn't. Tbh cutting those things out did absolutely nothing for my IBS.
When I'm having a good day I might be stupid and have a little of something tasty but it always leaves me in agony. You'd think i'd learn, but no.

My lovely mummy or bf go on hot water bottle patrol so they do it for me. If I was left to do i'd get boiling water on me, and none in the bottle, and they'd sit full for months.

AHA - YOU ARE ENGLISH TOO, YO. YES, YO - TESCO DOES THEM. AND ASDA NOW, TO MY UTTER DELIGHT! YOU CAN GET VEGGIE ONES. AND M&S DON'T USE ANY RAW FISH - AND THEY HAVE A CHEAP ONE FOR £1 THAT CONTAINS FOUR ROLLS.

I FOUND FOR ME THAT CUTTING OUT WHEAT ONLY STARTED TO WORK WHEN I'D DONE IT FOR SEVERAL MONTHS, AND ALSO IN TANDEM WITH CUTTING OUT PROCESSED FOOD AND OTHER THINGS. BUT THEN I GOT NAUGHTY AND ATE WHEAT AGAIN - VERY SILLY REALLY. I AM THE SAME AS YOU - WHEN I'M HAVING A GOOD DAY (OR EVEN A GOOD HOUR!) I EAT THINGS THAT I KNOW WILL LEAVE ME IN PAIN! BUT IF YOU START BY EATING ONLY FOODS THAT DON'T MAKE YOU HURT - LIKE LAMB, RICE AND PEARS - AND THEN FROM THERE, TRY OTHER FOODS ONE AT A TIME, YOU CAN TOTALLY NARROW DOWN WHAT YOU CAN EAT AND WHAT YOU CAN'T. FROM THERE, IT'S JUST A QUESTION OF SELF-DISCIPLINE - JOLLY HARD, YO!

I shall definitely try them then.

Ah self discipline, not so good at that. I do keep trying to cut back most things, and I'm pretty good at in when I really try and avoid temptation. Mine is stress related too, and related to my ME, so basically if it wants to play up it will. Pretty annoying. Every time I have a good day and someone has something tempting I think "maybe it wasn't that which set me off, maybe I'll be alright", or I'll have a teeny-tiny helping of something naughty and when it doesn't play me up I'll have more and then the trouble starts. It'd be much easier if I didn't like food.

OH YES, YO - IT IS ALWAYS STRESS RELATED. LIKE STRESS WILL TOTALLY MAKE IT WORSE. GOSH, YO - WHEN I DID A NIGHT SHIFT AND THE FIRE ALARM WENT OFF, THE NOISE WAS SO LOUD IN MY POOR EARS THAT IT TOTALLY STRESSED OUT MY POOR BOD, AND MY PAINZ INCREASED LIKE CRAZY! THE GOOD THING WITH STRESS-RELATED CRAP IS THAT YOU CAN CONTROL IT TO SOME DEGREE BY RELAXATION AND STUFF - UNLESS IT'S EVIL BODILY STRESS THAT YOU CAN'T CONTROL LIKE LOUD NOISES.

Nope none as they're defects with the structure of the heart, and unfortunately they don't have drugs for that. When/if they can close the hole I'll be on anti-coagulants but that's it.
Although I had the optician question that I had heart problems because I'm not on meds for them.

Lots of people appear to have suspected IBS. Well, I thought I had that too, until it turned out I was lactose intolerant, which is far more common. Just wondering if some of you guys may be.

NAH, I'M NOT, BUT I DO HATE MILK, SO I DON'T DRINK IT. I'M FINE WITH YOGURTS AND CHEESE THOUGH - THEY ARE TWO OF THE FEW THINGS I CAN EAT WITHOUT PAIN. I DON'T LIKE THE NAME 'IBS' THOUGH - GOSH, IT SOUNDS LIKE A COMPUTER OR SOMETHING. I PREFER 'INTESTINAL WOES'. I SHOULD GET MY GP TO WRITE THAT ON MY RECORDS. ;D

i forgot to put that one when i wrote that last night.

I am lactose intolerant. But I completely avoid dairy products for the most part (which makes me sad because I loooove cheese).

There is a brand over here called 'lactofree'. They do milk, cheese, cream cheese and yogurts with the lactose filtered out. The cheese isn't amazing but it's better than nothing!
