clowns make me cry. when i was twelve the clown came up to me at our labor day parade trying to make me not scared and i kicked him in the shins.
and last year when i saw him coming i ran into the house.
i don't know why they scare me so bad but there's just something creepy and wrong about them.

I am scared of dwarves, I had a dream when I was 16 about them and they've freaked me out ever since. When I walk past one I shake. Also, I can't look at a mirror in the dark, theres no mirrors in my bedroom due to this. And, how Australian of me, the thought of hitting a kangaroo terrifies me. Where I work, I pass a lot of bushland where they live, and in the past year I've had far too many near hits it's no funny!

I'm sorry but I just find the thought of hitting a kangaroo hilarious. (just because we don't have any here!) I can't even imagine what it would be like to have a kangaroo just hop it's ass out onto the road.

Now, had you said a DEER. I'd have been with you on that one ;)

I feel left out... I'm fearless & not scared of anything. =/ I'm okay with everything -- insects, animals, noises, small places, crowds, "scary" places, etc.

I have just remembered another one, I'm scared that something will come up the toilet (like a snake or a rat) when I'm on it. I read a story in the paper about a snake coming out of someones toilet once and ever since then I'm petrified! lol

YES. Oh my god I'm not the only one!!

When I was in elementary school, I walked into the teachers bathroom (it was right next to the counselor's office I was in, she told me it was cool ;D) and there was a snake INSIDE the toilet.

I was convinced it had come up through the pipes. Even though they told me it was the 5th grade pet that had escaped lol.

I'm scared of a break in in my home, have been since I was younger. I'm also scared I'll be in a car accident, so I tend to drive defensively.
I'm also afraid of open heights/falling from heights. Those are the main ones.

Oddly enough, bugs don't bother much at all. I recently impressed my husband by killing a palmetto bug when we were in Florida. ;-D

WE HAVE COWGRATES IN THE UK. I USED TO HAVE A FEAR OF THEM WHEN I WAS A LITTLE GIRLY, ALONG WITH STAIRS THAT ONLY HAVE THE HORIZONTAL BIT AND NOT THE VERTICAL BIT, AND ALSO TRANSPARENT THINGS THAT YOU WALK OVER AND CAN SEE THROUGH, AND BRIDGES MADE OF WOODEN STRIPS WITH SPACES IN BETWEEN. ANY KIND OF WALKING WHERE YOU CAN SEE THROUGH WHAT YOU ARE WALKING ON - THIS TERRIFIED POOR LITTLE PUCK! I WAS ALSO TERRIFIED OF POPPING CANDY AND CANDY FLOSS AND FIZZY DRINKS AND THE MILKMAN WHO WOULD REMOVE HIS FINGER AND PUT IT BACK AGAIN. AND MILK TOO - THE THICK CREAMY SEMI-SOLID BITS AT THE TOP SCARED ME.

BEING A COURAGEOUS PUCK, I HAVE VALIANTLY OVERCOME THOSE FEARS NOW - BUT I DO STILL HAVE A TERROR OF ESCALATORS AND ELEVATORS AND AEROPLANES. AND TRAINS THAT STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. AND BEING IN A BUS OR CAR GOING UPHILL (I AM ALWAYS SCARED OF ROLLING DOWN!). AND FRUIT THAT IS A SIAMESE TWIN - COJOINED BANANAS SCARE ME TO DEATH, YO! AND I GET SCARED OF CDS THAT STICK AND REPEAT THE SAME SOUND AGAIN AND AGAIN. AND LIONS AND TIGERS AND BEARS, YO - I HATE BEING AT A SAFARI PARK. I AM ALSO SCARED OF MY ATTIC.

I am the same with cars going uphill! Where I live there's a huge hill to get to my house and I refuse to go up it on any other transportation other than on foot! lol I'm scared of lifts as well, I got stuck in one in 2006 and it was horrible!

One of my most irrational fears is really disturbing, but I'm scared to death of running over a baby. Like, a swaddled baby lying in the middle of the road. If I see something on the road that might look like blankets, I slow down and avoid it. I've done that with plastic bags on the ground. But it's only at night that I get freaked out...

I have thought about that before too. I have seen blankets or something similar on the side of the road, and I always get out to check it. You never know in today's society.

try waking up with THIS in your shower:

i cry. i can't stand them. it's a cave/camel cricket and it's the most disgusting creature in the world. get this, its only form of defense is to JUMP AT THREATS. so try getting in your shower with one of these little buggers and it actually JUMPS. AT. YOU. and onto your feet and legs and BLECK.

i feel like i'm going to be sick just looking at this picture. i've actually had nightmares about these things :[

We use to get those things all the time in our rooms downstairs. Haven't seen one in years, though.
