Your steak tastes like God. When I die, I want to be buried in a pile of American steaks. They are so good, I could rub my face in them all day long.

LMAO

Oh man, the 'right on red' is the best thing ever! Americans are impatient! Why wait for the light to turn green when you can go NOW!? And it's not like you can turn left on red...unless you're turning left onto a one way street, then it's not like you're crossing traffic traveling in the opposite direction.

I agree.
bestest thing evar.

Although I've turned left on red lights into two way streets before :x

It was raining way bad, and I was sitting in a completely DESERTED intersection. The tornado sirens came on, and the radio cut in with flood warnings.
I was like screw this red light, and went. (it was only red for turning! HOW STUPID. You could go straight either way. Pffft.)

THANK YOU. I thought I was the only one who noticed the churches.

By my friends house, if you just drive straight along this one street, you pass (and I kid you not) Five churches, and its maybe six blocks long.
All different denomonations.

I'm sorry, but get the heck out of here with that.

Around my house there is ONE church.
St. Roman's and its the only one I know of in like a mile radius of it.
There's a lutheran church nearby, but they dont count ;) (kidding!)

What's wrong with a lot of churches if each one is a different denomination? Should all the other denominations not be allowed to have a church?
I don't understand.. :S

I was referring to the fact that they're all virtually right next to each other.
Didn't I say that?

Yep. "you pass (and I kid you not) Five churches, and its maybe six blocks long."

You also said they were all different denominations xD
So wouldn't that explain them being all next to each other? xD

With as big as my city is, it's really dumb to have them even within a block radius of each other.
There's plenty of space.

In Australia, we can turn left on red, provided that there's a sign saying that we can. xD The sign, situated beneath the traffic lights, says something like "Turn left at any time with care." They only put those in places where it's really easy to see oncoming traffic and therefore make the decision to turn left on red.

Differences between northern spain (galicia) and uk.

the sweet bread. *gag* you just can't put marmite on it because that would be criminal to the taste buds. but however, most people buy fresh bread everyday or have it delivered! which is not sweet. so its okay.

the driving is terrible, they don't know how to indicate or use roundabouts properly.

nearly everything is nasty companies like nestle and cocacola, the drinks, the chocolate, the babyfood, cereals... theres a lack of choice. and no cadburys. *sob* cheddar cheese is rare and expensive.

the clothes are expensive especially baby clothes. i don't appreciate paying 12euros for 2 vests/onesies when i can get 7 for £5 in the uk!!! rent however is very very cheap

they don't appreciate art/photography. if they do they're american galicians. handmade means nothing to them generally.

the routine peircing of baby girls. nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

they're really behind in the times when it comes to children, rear facing, washable nappies, breastfeeding, weaning times - these things are just not up to date with the uk. people smack kids like theres no tomorrow. babies are dressed up all the time... bonnets, booties, wool coats etc in the winter. hats and matching outfits in the summer. shoes. always always shoes! they don't like anything out of the ordinary, like slings! children should be in prams with 4 blankets and a hat and a raincover. not much less than that in the summer too. i've actually been sworn at for having my daughter in a sling.

probably more that i'll think of as soon as i post this.

Same as Italy. In a 40 kph speed zone, it's not uncommon for them to go 140. xD

By routine piercings do you mean like earrings? Or... other things? Ew.

Babies here get their ears (and by here I mean the States) pierced fairly regularly. I myself wouldn't pierce a baby's ears but I know plenty of mothers who have done so. I myself got my eyes pierced when I was 3.

lol just earrings. but to me thats bad enough, they do it like right away from newborn because 'otherwise how will people know shes a girl?' we get stick all the time (and my daughter gets called a boy practically every day... even if shes in a dress or pink) because she doesn't have peirced ears. once one woman said 'how will people know shes a girl' and my hubby was like 'why does any random person need to know shes a girl??'.
we also get the 'it doesn't hurt when you do it when they're newborn.' wtf? of course it fucking hurts!!!!

See, IMO piercing a baby's ears for THAT reason is retarded. As if she isn't going to get older?! As if ppl aren't going to be able to tell in a few MONTHS that the baby is a girl?!!?! WTF. That's retarded.

I don't really get the piercing of ears as baby's; I remember whining and begging my parents (it's 1 of my earliest memories xD) as a child to get my ears pierced. And when they finally conceded I remember the 2 ladies advancing on me w/ the piercing guns and SCREAMING my head off when they pierced it. XD Now Idk if it was the noise that scared me or if it actually hurt. XD

That newborn excuse is invalid. -___- Buuuuuuuuullshit.
