I know that many Bloopers are non smokers, however for those of you who do smoke, have you heard of electronic cigarettes?

_________________________________________________
"It looks like a cigarette, it tastes like a cigarette, it feels like a cigarette, but it isn't a cigarette, it contains no tobacco, and the "smoke" is vapor.
Containing state of the art micro-electronic technology this re-chargeable e-cigarette produces a real "smoking" experience without many of the unpleasant side-effects of smoking tobacco.

As you inhale, a tiny battery vaporizes liquid inside the cigarette producing a smoke like vapor. You insert the Nicotine cartridges of your choice (it comes with a set of 5) that will release nicotine - or if you choose to skip the nicotine altogether, try our 0mg (None) Nicotine cartridges or you can choose from High Nicotine (16mg), Medium Nicotine (11mg) or Low Nicotine (6mg).

Of course some people may come up to you telling you to put your Electronic Cigarette out (it looks that real), but there's no second-hand smoke to worry about. It’s NOT a real cigarette, there is NO real smoke, flame, tar or tobacco.

It comes with 2 batteries and a home electric charger, and since there is no flame or real tobacco, we believe that it can be use in most places where traditional smoking is banned. This e-cigarette is tar-free, unlike traditional cigarettes, and may save smokers a fortune in the long run.

Smoking Everywhere E-Cigarette KIT Includes:
• Two Electric Cigarette Rechargeable Batteries.
• 5 high-strength (16mg) tobacco flavored cartridges is included in the kit.
• Mains Charger Adaptor.
• Power Lead (U.S plug).
• Manual (English).
• 12 MONTHS (ONE-YEAR) Manufacture Replacement WARRANTY*.

Smoking Everywhere E-Cigarette KIT Features:
• An electronic cigarette does not produce second-hand smoke and should be allowed under most smoking bans.
• The device has no flame, no tobacco and no known carcinogenic ingredients.
• The cigarette comes in two parts, the longest part contains micro electronic technology and a rechargeable battery and the shorter part is the flavored cartridge.
• Each cartridge is the equivalent of 20 cigarettes.
• The tip of the cigarette lights up as you inhale.
• Simulated smoke is emitted as you exhale. This is only vapor and evaporates in seconds.
• A full charge will last for approximately one day.
• Suitable for smokers of legal smoking age(at least 18 years).
• Not suitable for pregnant or breast feeding women.

Benefits/Claims

Smoking Everywhere Go Green with Eco-Friendly Electronic Cigarettes :
We at Smoking Everywhere, Inc. consider the Smoking Everywhere Electronic Cigarettes as a GREEN Product, as also known as Eco-Friendly, and we have the goal of helping to create a smoke free environment, by offering smoking cigarettes, without tobacco, tar, smoke and the other chemicals found in the traditional cigarettes, and here is how:

The Smoking Everywhere E Cigarette produces vapor mist that looks like smoke, instead of real smoke, and there is no need for ashtrays, because there is no ash created from the Electronic Cigarette.
There are no cigarette buds to dispose, and therefore much less to recycle.

Smoking Everywhere Electric Cigarette is Non-Flammable:
The Smoking Everywhere Electric Cigarette is a completely non-flammable electronic device. There is no danger of fire from ordinary usage (It does contain a lithium battery which carries certain explosion risks if ignited), anything burning and no substance in it lit. Smoking Everywhere Electric Cigarette is CE & Rohs certified.

Smoking Everywhere E Cigarette can be smoked most anywhere and everywhere:
The Smoking Everywhere E Cigarette can be used legally almost anywhere and everywhere, even where traditional smoking is prohibited.
The Smoking Everywhere ECig is not lit and smoke is not produced. The smoke that you see is strictly a harmless vapor mist.

NOTE: Because the cigarette is not ignited and hence is not actually smoked, smoking an e-cigarette should not be prohibited under most laws and ordinances that ban smoking in certain areas for public health purposes.

Smoking Everywhere E-Cigarette looks like a real cigarette:
Smoking Everywhere E-Cigarette has been designed to look and feel like a traditional cigarette. We use the best quality of materials and technology to create our product and we stand behind it with ONE YEAR (12 months) replacement warranty.

Smoking Everywhere E-Cigarette comes in different flavors:
The Smoking Everywhere E-Cigarette cartridges come in various nicotine flavors including"

Tobacco (designed to taste like real cigarette)
Apple
Cherry
Strawberry
Chocolate
Coffee
Vanilla
Mint

The Smoking Everywhere E-Cigarette cartridges also come in various strengths of nicotine, such as:

High (16mg nicotine)

Medium (11mg nicotine)

Low (6mg nicotine)

Non (0mg nicotine).
The Smoking Everywhere E-Cigarette is intended only for adult smokers (at least 18). Keep out of the reach of children.

Smoking Everywhere E-Cigarette is rechargeable:
The Smoking Everywhere E-Cigarette is rechargeable, so you can use it over and over...
With the Smoking Everywhere E-Cigarette starter kit you get two rechargeable batteries, which will give you a long-lasting, "smoking" experience. The batteries and the atomization chamber come with a ONE YEAR (12 months) warranty and have been certified by CE & ROHS.

Smoking Everywhere E-Cigarette Is cheaper than smoking real cigarettes:
The costs of smoking traditional cigarettes are becoming too expensive. A normal pack of cigarettes costs between $4.00 to $6.00 (average$ 4.26). However, with the Smoking Everywhere E-Cigarettes most smokers can enjoy significant savings (based on source: http://www.cdc.gov).
After your initial investment of the Smoking Everywhere E-Cigarette starter kit, you should start to notice savings of up to 50-80 percent, depending upon your customary usage.

A single Smoking Everywhere cartridge is equivalent to approximately 15-20 tradittional cigarettes but is cheaper then any pack of cigarette in New York City.

Smoking Everywhere E-Cig offers smokers a tar-free way to enjoy smoking:
Smoking Everywhere E-Cigarette has no tobacco, no tar, no real smoke and no other chemicals like traditional cigarettes that are known to cause lung cancer. However, It looks like a real cigarette, feels like a real cigarette and tastes like a real cigarette, yet it isn’t a real cigarette... It also may be cheaper and offers smokers a tar-free way to enjoy smoking!!!"

Hmmm... That sounds very interesting! I don't smoke and never have. But this might be good for people who are trying to quit-at least it won't have the same harmful health issues as real cigarettes.

My mother tried this. She didn't like it. They don't feel like a real cigarette, or taste like one, which is what the addiction is based off of, if I remember correctly.

They've been out for a few years now, at least here. They are apparently doing quite well although I've never seen one being used.

I've heard (as it says here), that there's no evidence smoking it causes illness. If that's true, sign me up! ;D (I used to be a regular smoker but now I'm more of a social smoker.)

I just went on that site, and the ones I've seen advertised here look like a silver pen, not like a cig at all.

Regular tobacco cigarettes were around for a very long time before they figured out the risks to our health they pose so no doubt given enough time some doctor folk with nothing better to do will find some health risk for these electronic cigs.

In the mean time I quit smoking a month ago using a fake cig that cost 99p in Wilkinsons and patches and I'm doing alright. I think a successful quit has a lot to do with how much you want to be a non smoker. I don't want to smoke anymore, simple as that, which is why I don't think I am. These things are great for people with no will power to kick the habit, but those people in my eyes just aren't ready to quit yet and will do when they're good and ready.

I shared my OP with my husband who is a smoker as well, just to get his opinion & to my surprise he is totally dig'n the idea & has already ordered a few kits for the both of us to try out (which should be here by Friday). :D :D :D

Personally, I feel that they are worth trying at least once. If I happen to enjoy them more than standard cigarettes, I am probably going to switch to E cigs. I am hoping that the cherry flavored cigs are good at least. I'm a huge fan of Sweet Dream cherry flavored cigs so if the E cigs (cherry flavored of course) taste anything like a Sweet Dream cigs I am going to be highly impressed to say the least. =)

I will let you all know how it goes. :D :D :D

My husband quit with Champix (chantix in the USA). It was brilliant, it only took him a month to quit totally - the course was three months, but our baby showed up and he kept forgetting to take the tablets.

So does it smell like smoke to the non smoker? I don't smoke. Not at all. Very gross and very dangerous. My son has asthma. His dad smokes and I hate when he goes to see him because he comes home smelling like a cigarette... even though his dad says he doesn't smoke around him. But smoke is an asthma trigger for him.

It doesn't smell like smoke, though it doesn't smell exactly good, either. I would advise your son stay away from it if his father chooses to use one, because the vapor could still have nicotine in it which may affect his lungs.

My boyfriend has a friend that uses one of those. It's giant, it kind of looks like a cigarette, except it's huge, and metal, and heavy. And it's a sore pain in your wallet if you lose it and have to buy a new one, like that kid has done before. Personally I've never tried it but then again I don't like nicotine buzzes.

FYI:

The electronic cigarette is currently banned from importation by the FDA. Existing products within the United States are not being withdrawn from shelves, but no new imports are currently being allowed, as the FDA is evaluating the e-cigarette as a medical device.

The main concern at the moment is improper dosing. Several studies have found the delivery systems in some cases are defective and rather than delivering metered doses, can deluge the body with large amounts of nicotine in very short time periods.
