I was doing some reading on the Swine Flu which has been posted by the Australian Government, and you know what we need? We need takehome Swine Flu tests. Totally unrealistic I know, but t'would be very helpful. You can have the swine flu and have no symptoms, you can feel like you have a generally regular cold and have it. Ahhh le sigh.
I'm feeling a bit under the weather today, and have been since yesterday, and it makes me wonder what I should do. I need to go see a doctor tomorrow anyway, but it makes you think "Do i isolate myself? Do I tell anyone who I was going to see today that I can't? Do I cancel my lunch?" Tis all very hard. If it's a regular cold, then Meh, but if it is actually Swine Flu (unlikely), then seeing other people today could be a really bad idea :( THEREFORE, the need for a takehome test ;)

I say cancel everything, even if you dont have it, to stay home and rest up, so as to not spread even the not so dangerous viruses.
To put simple things like hand sanitizers in airports, and yes, home testing kits as well, which is a great idea :)
short of stop eating all these pigs n birds bec we over populate them and catch flues from them, but that's probably another discussion for another day ;D

You can't catch swine flu (or any flu) by eating meat. Not if you cook it properly anyway.

The swine flue came from pigs farms. while raising them for consumption. You catch the flue from a sick pick while they're alive, and you feed them, and clean up after them, breed them, etc
not eating them,lol

First we had mad cow disease, then bird flu and now swine flu. What is this? Farmageddon?

Oh my word! Swine Flu became a bit of a joke with all the ridiculous hype.
I mean, you'd be on the train and someone sneezes then everyone makes way as if they have the Plague, lol.
All rather dramatic, don't'cha think? At least the "sneeze" trick was a way to get a free seat ;)

I also think it's unlikely you have swine flu. From what I've read it usually causes full blown flu symptoms (when you usually feel too sick to go out for lunch anyway!), rather than just mild cold like symptoms.

I SNEEZED EARLIER TODAY. I SHALL REQUEST THAT MY DOC GIVES ME A TAKE-HOME SWINE FLU TEST, YO!

GOSH, THEY SHOULD BE AVAILABLE IN CHEMISTS, YO, ON THE SAME AISLE AS PREGNANCY TESTS. CAN YOU IMAGINE THE MONEY THEY'D MAKE! THEY COULD MAKE PRETTY COLOURFUL ONES FOR THE KIDS, WITH A NICE CARTOON OF A SNEEZING PIGGY ON IT.
