hahah, that sounds like me. I LOVE to read. I can read a thick book in a matter of about 6 hours, if it's really good, lol

Ooh that's good!
I just finished New Moon in 2 days... with considerable gaps of time between setting it down and picking it up. And here I was thinking I was a slowish reader ;D

My friend is like that with books. She plows through books at ridiculous speeds. I'm not sure how she does it. Apparently you can take some test to see the time it takes to read a page...you should do that if you can read a 400 page book in three days.

Wicked is quite a good book. Quite different to the musical though, and gets a bit slow in the second half. I've also bought Son of a Witch, but haven't gotten around to reading it yet.

I agree -I absolutely love what I'm reading of Wicked!
I've gotten to the bit where Fiyero falls in love with Elphaba and they have a love affair ;D
Yes; it's definitely A LOT different to the musical. But it's pretty awesome having a 2-sides kinda thing!

I just finished Breaking Dawn, the last book from the Twilight saga! And I have to say, I'm addicted! I loved all of them! Well, except the first half of New Moon for obvious reasons! [Yes, I'm a member of Team La Push Jacob off a cliff!] Although, the movie Twilight left something to be desired, I'm hoping that they've stepped it up for New Moon, and I'm excited to see it!!

I agree with the Twilight movie. I enjoyed the book, but when it came to the movie it just fizzled. NO chemistry between the two lead characters for one thing. It was horribly disappointing.

See, I watched the film first, then read the books. Am starting Eclipse tomorrow. And I LOVED the film! So maybe people who read the books first have expectations of the film whereas I didn't have many expectations of the book, because I knew it would be different.

That was my problem! I read the book before I saw the movie! And although I knew it wouldn't be exactly the same, it still upset me! :]

I saw this poster at the movie theater the other day and was shocked of how quickly it came out. I was expecting the poster to come out at the end of summer or something. It was right next to the Harry Potter poster. :-D That's why I spotted it so quickly.
